Fun.
David Goodner, who has worked as a community organizer in Des Moines for Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement, has left town. He says his son and the boy’s mother moved to Madison, Wis., some time ago and he’s gone to join them.
It’s tough leaving, Goodner says in an email, but he’s starting a new job as a labor organizer for Service Employees International Union in La Crosse, Wis., and he feels there’s lots of exciting things to do.
Well that depends.
If he lobbys for his point through persuasion vs. force, with a reasonable civility, thats fine with me.
However, if he’s anything like Mike Tate, Debbie hyphenated Schultz, or drunken Graham Zielinski, then Iowa owes us big time for exporting their problems to us.
