Cool.
Racine, Kenosha, Waukesha, Lake Geneva and Wisconsin Dells will see Uber services starting this week. Those new locations largely coincide with the home base of lawmakers who lobbied hardest for the new legislation, and where the company says it sees demand.
This is excellent.
This shatters the corrupt liberal regulatory taxi cabal in many big cities.
I’ve used it plenty and liked it. Still, I wonder what the impact is on jobs. How many uber drivers are making a living wage?
Scott,
You are always free to leave a big tip.
Drivers in large cities don’t have to pay for a taxi medallion which was huge capital investment for just right to operate.
I bet uber drivers are net better off.
