20-Week Fetal Pain Bill Moving Forward in Wisconsin Legislature

Excellent.

MADISON, Wis. – A state Senate committee is scheduled to vote Thursday on a bill that would ban non-emergency abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy.

Two Wisconsin health committees took up testimony on the fast-tracked bill during a public hearing Tuesday. Under the proposal, doctors who perform an abortion after 20 weeks in non-emergency situations could be charged with a felony and subject to $10,000 in fines or 3 ½ years in prison.

    Good News.

Why is it that folks who love the fetus condone child abuse?

From the Catholic Church to the Duggars , we are told that women need to listen to male authority , stay in their place and use their bodies
    To produce children

Yet once the children are born , apologies are made for abuse to cover up the institutions that promote the thought process in the first place

    Doctors in consultation with their
Patients need to make decisions about womens bodies , not white evangelical men

    Mark,

    I’ll bite.

How did the Duggers cover up child abuse, given the parents were the ones that reported it to the authorities? (I find it hilarious, that liberals give Bill Clinton a pass for all his awful sexual behavior and cover up, but the Duggers, by being honest and reporting it, get the liberal spin cycle on it….)

I don’t disagree with the cover up problems in Roman Catholic church. There is also no Christian church body, ouside the Roman Catholic church, that I know of, that REQUIRES women to have children. As far as I know, only the Roman Catholic church is against birth control. (Also, does not matter, because many Roman Catholic women use birth control anyway according to many surveys.)

Nearly all Evangelical branches are OK with birth control.

They reported the abuse 1year later and after the 3rd occurrence of the 5 total.
They reported it to an officer they knew with child porn issues and he forgave the son also .
    That’s a neat resolution.
Then they trotted out the family for profit , lecturing others on parenting and morality

In a majority of cases, child abusers are acting out what’s been done to them . What exactly is going on
    In that family?

What parent do you know would wait for the 3rd occasion of abuse before seeking help?
This was done to four (4) Dugger daughter’s and a baby sitter .

Where in the Bible they referred to so piously to judge others does it say to NOT report child abuse ?

They can forgive their son but not LGBT people?

They are Hypocrites and terrible parents to boot.

    Mark,

They knew the officer had child porn issues? Where did you pick that up? How would they know that?

Christians are not perfect in resolving problems, but I certainly give parents credit for taking steps to eliminate the abuse. The steps may not have been fast enough, or you may have augmented them, but it is far from a bury and cover up level like the abusive behavior of Bill Clinton, which liberals ignore as a ” private matter”. ( even the rape of Juanita).

Forgiveness can be given if there is repentance for the behavior. This includes amending one’s life to stop the sin. Sounds like that happened here. The sisters have forgiven him.

The Duggars can forgive the LGBT community, but if the sin you expect forgiveness from the Duggars for continues, they should forgive if there is no open amend and repentance on the part if the sinner?

Christians have a duty to gently admonish other Christians to correct the open sin, so they don’t imperil their eternal soul. So forgiveness of the unrepentant would mean allowing the sin to continue, without doing their Matthew 18 duty .

Mark, you seem adamant they were to quick to forgive the unrepentant when it comes to their son after the 1st, or 2nd inappropriate touching incident. If someone faked repentance and faked correcting their behavior under Matthew 18 that is always a difficult thing to discern. You can only really tell by their follow up behavior.

If you are better at that, then congratulations you are a perfect human being.

Based on your standard for the Duggars, we have a lot to talk about when it comes to Hillary Clinton excusing and covering up (vs.correcting and reporting) Bill Clinton’s predatory sexual behavior!

The Duggars attempted to resolve the sin and eliminate it. Hillary continues to cover it up and excuse it with Bill.

    KS,
What the hell does this have to do with Duggars or Clinton’s? Can you ever stay on topic? I thought you were against abortion , but yet you applaud the actual topic?

  7. Mark Maley

This bill criminalizes problem pregnancies not taken to term

Lawmakers shouldn’t make those decisions , doctors and women
    Should

  8. Kevin Scheunemann

    West Bend Obsrver,

I can’t take credit for your foaming on this one…if you look closely, at the 2nd post on this topic Mark is to “blame” (or to take “credit”) for bringing up the Duggers/ Catholic church, etc.http://www.bootsandsabers.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_smile.gif

KS, You brought the Clinton’s and you also said this form of abortion is good news. You didn’t answer the question in full. Is abortion acceptable to you in this case? It must be if you call it good news.

  10. Kevin Scheunemann

    West Bend Observer,

I was commenting on the pro life bill moving forward as “good news”, not ongoing unborn child murder as good news.

I only brought the Clintons in because Mark’s comments about the Duggars “cover up” and the Roman Catholic church “cover up” was interesting when his party supports the biggest cover-up artist of them all…Hillary Clinton. So I find it very intersting liberals will vulture attack, with foaming passion, the Duggars, but yet defend and rationalize the Clintons who have done far, far, worse, and unlike the Duggars, are running for President…a position that should have a much higher standard of review than a reality series couple.

    I find that interesting.

It’s all a bunch of slut-shaming and the desire to control women’s sexuality.

  12. Kevin Scheunemann

    Mark said,

“This bill criminalizes problem pregnancies not taken to term

Lawmakers shouldn’t make those decisions , doctors and women
    Should”

What happened to the Mark Maley that really liked beatitudes as a way to treat others and protecting the “least of these” as Jesus would have done, the unborn children being painfully murdered?

  13. Mark Maley

I believe in choosing actual people over embryo’s and the ” how many angels are there on the head of a pin”
    Discussion about when life begins

I have no issue terminating a pregnancy that will result in a lifetime of birth defect
Or severe mental impairment for the embryo

And I am most concerned about the health of the mother

So , Call me Pro Actual Life

I am super concerned about the poor and left behind children who are actually born

I am also 100% fine with women making their own reproductive choices with their doctors and men not getting a vote

So yeah , I want to apply some good idea’s to folks who actually exist on the planet .

  14. Kevin scheunemann

    Mark,

So you really apply a “survival of the fittest” standard vs. love for the “least of these” standard.
