It’s somewhat ironic for Senator Reid to lecture someone else on ethics.
U.S. Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid on Friday called for U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson to drop out of the race for a Senate seat in Florida, but Grayson angrily denounced the move and said he has no plans to follow Reid’s suggestion.
Reid said in a statement that Grayson claims to be progressive but seems to have “no moral compass.” He said Grayson used his office to unethically promote a hedge fund that until recently had been based in the Cayman Islands.
“These deeply troubling allegations should disqualify anyone from a seat in the U.S. Senate,” Reid said. “His actions aren’t just disgraceful to the Democratic Party, they disgrace the halls of Congress.”
I actually met Reid when I first moved to Las Vegas. He spoke to the new teachers, about 1500 of u. He seemed to be quite down to Earth and the friendly sort, especially compared to the other Senator who spoke, but this was just after he got the majority leader gig.
From then on, he completely lost my confidence in him as a politician and as a human being. He sucks as a politician and he is not a human being.
Grayson is an odd duck
His hedge fund only has his family in it
He should just close it down and get his $ the old fashioned way all politicians get paid off .
