We wouldn’t want those unseemly people yearning for freedom to spoil Obama’s support of a tyrannical regime.
President Barack Obama is flying to Cuba for a historic visit to the island and talks with its communist leader.
The two-day visit will be the first by a sitting US president since Calvin Coolidge went 88 years ago.
Mr Obama will meet President Raul Castro – but not retired revolutionary leader Fidel Castro – and the pair will discuss trade and political reform.
Protesters were arrested in the capital Havana just hours before Mr Obama was due to arrive.
Police took away dozens of demonstrators from the Ladies in White group, formed by wives of political prisoners, from outside a church where they attempt to hold weekly protests.
Obama,
Visiting an oppressed Cuban people, so he can legitimize their tyrannical socialist abusers in power.
Typical liberalism….and Obama’s dream society.
“Typical liberalism….and Obama’s dream society”.
And typical nonsensical hyperbole from kev.
How did you react to Nixon’s visit to China?
So you support all the political prisoners Cuba is holding?
Liberalism craves imprisoning and shutting up its dissidents.
Even liberals in America crave this.
The land of freedom should not be sending the message that oppressive sicialist government is dandy.
kev:
No.
No, it doesn’t.
The last two are just more from your Book of Made Up Stuff because you have nothing further to say that makes any sense.
Saudi Arabia

Pat,
Saudi Arabia does not pretend to be a democracy. I agree with you that Busch should not slopped up to them as close as he did.
Cuba just said it is a democracy, supports human rights, denies it has political prisoners. That is a delusional regime, even for a socialist regime.
All Obama did was cheer tyranny.
It is disgusting.
Nixon and Zhou’s ‘Toast to Peace’

Did China pretend to be a democracy like Cuba is doing? That was an embarrassing press conference for Obama. Basic human rights were in full retreat thanks to Obama.
There is one universal thing about socialist governments, that is always true, they are dishonest about basic human rights…and Democrats embrace that.
I chuckled when they were extolling Cuba’s education and health care system, both systems are stuck in the 50s and woefully behind the US in technology. It was like celebrating 8 track players as cool technology.
Socialists tend to be delusional. Why our socialist had to be delusional with the neighboring thug socialist…well the disastrous press conference spoke for itself.
kev:
Could you provide the like where Cuba claims to be a democracy? The reports on NPR say nothing of the sort, and that Raoul says single party stays. Thanks
The rest, as usual, is more of your delusional nonsense.
In Kevin’s world it’s ok to suck up to totalitarian dictators as long as they don’t say that they live in a democracy. Evidently Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, and countless other repressive countries, are acceptable for Conservatives to play patty cake with.
I should have said, “acceptable for Conservatives, like Kevin, to play patty cake with.”, because most Conservatives don’t think the same as him.
Very good story in Politico, “How Obama set a trap for Raul Castro”

Obama is letting Castro dump Cuban refugee trash on America.
This ends when President-elect Trump slams the door shut on January 20, 2017.
Baldy,
Did you watch press conference?
Raul Castro sung the praises of Cuba’s “democracy” and human rights record.
Delusional insanity that liberals defend.
Pat,
What happened to Obama’s sanctions against Russia for being against U.S. interests?
Cuba has done far worse and still rebels against U.S. interests to our face?
Squirrel!
kev:
And later said that Cuba will remain a one party country. You are cherry picking again.
Baldy,
Yes. This why you do not trust anyone who can’t be honest about who they are and what they stand for.
You cannot have a reasonable relationship with the overtly dishonest.
If anyone thinks that relationships can thrive and work on basic dishonesty in human relationships….well, you must be a socialist.
Huh?
Did you ever look up the definition of the word “socialist”? Didn’t think so.
The rest, as usual, is gibberish. You prove no point by making up something to argue against. It just shows your lack of imagination.
