Trump demands unwavering fealty while behaving as fickle as a cat’s love.
STERLING, Va. — Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is refusing to back House Speaker Paul Ryan in his upcoming primary election, saying in an interview Tuesday that he is “not quite there yet” in endorsing his party’s top-ranking elected official.
Trump also said he was not supporting Sen. John McCain in his primary in Arizona, and he singled out Sen. Kelly Ayotte as a weak and disloyal leader in New Hampshire, a state whose presidential primary Trump won handily.
You know… I get the argument that we should vote for Trump because the SCOTUS is at stake. I get it. I really do. But every time I find myself being wooed by that argument, Trump does something to kick me in the teeth. I just can’t bring myself to vote for this detestable man. And even if he wins and manages to appoint a decent Justice, he will likely tear down any semblance of constitutional government we have left.
Seriously, why would conservatives want to re-elect Paul Ryan? He’s Obama lite.
His opponent in the primary, Paul Nehlen is a much better conservative than Ryan. Ryan may have used to be a conservative but no more.
And what has Ryan done for Wisconsin since he was elected Speaker?
Oh Dan,
I just realized who you are. The special ed. teacher from Arizona who works a second restaurant job at night. I remember reading past posts of yours. You frequent many blogs but always with the same modus operandi… Late night drunken rants in broken English. I can almost smell the booze but I can definitely hear the slur.
I can’t believe you would criticize Paul Ryan when you have Trump at the wheel. Speaker Ryan should throw him under the bus now before its to late. Ryan is one of the few honorable conservatives left. If he was the GOP nominee he would definitely get my vote over Hillary.
But when National ICE Council president Chris Crane again exposed Ryan as an ‘open borders’ guy, the local press failed to run the story. Trump is a clown but at least he recognizes the flood of illegal immigrants into this country is not a good thing. 59% of voters in a nation poll think we need to control our borders. My guess is Janesville is not an ‘open borders’, sanctuary city kind of town. Their Congressman that supposedly represents their interests does not.
