No. Just. No. It is downright unAmerican to support oppressing people because of their religion.
Paul Nehlen, who is challenging House Speaker Paul Ryan in Wisconsin’s first congressional district, said on “Chicago’s Morning Answer” that he wonders why we have any Muslims in the country. He actually told the that there should be a discussion of throwing Muslims out of the country. All Muslims. When he was asked whether he would support deporting every Muslim from the country, Nehlen told hosts Amy Jacobson and Dan Proft: “I’m suggesting we have a discussion about it. That’s for sure. I am absolutely suggesting we figure out how do we, we — here’s what we should be doing. We should be monitoring every mosque. We should be monitoring all social media.”
Absolutely ridiculous.
We should be evangelizing Muslims that are here and encourage them from their false religion.
That is what Ryan supports as a Christian.
If there are criminals that happen to be Muslim they should be locked up like any other criminal regardless of religion.
Liberals need to stop funding Nehlen.
Nehlen is not my idea of a perfect candidate but it is about time that voters learned Ryan is a liar. His campaign ad conveniently omits his open border agenda. Really a great policy to support jobs in Janesville; not! Marching lock step with the “party” elites, he has joined the other sellouts in DC. His kind is why people support outsider candidates no matter how bad they are.
Kevin either has a short memory, or is being willfully hypocritical with his position on this thread.
Numerous times Kevin has screamed about oppression of Christians, yet he proposes to “evangelize” Muslims. What happened to freedom OF religion? Did you forget about the Constitution?
In those same posts and in others Kevin has promoted all Muslims as terrorists, yet now he backs off that position. Perhaps some evolution is occurring on the issue.
I doubt any liberals are funding or supporting Nehlen. Any proof of that?
Nord,
1.) Evangelizing is not oppression. Anyone is free to reject it.
2.) Oppression is when Christians are not allowed to speak in public square about their Christianity.
3.) I have never promoted all Muslims as terrorists. that would be false witness on your part. I said Islam is a false religion and Muslims that are not violent should consider why they belong to a religion that actively promotes such overt violence.
Kevin:
1) Why not just leave them alone?
2) So oppression only is applied to Christians?
3) Yes, you have. I have better things to do than look back for your numerous transgressions and deviations from the truth.
A little self-reflection might do your some good.
1.) if Muslims continue to shoot people yelling “Allah is great”, clearly you want more Jesus being preached, not less.
2.) Not all the time, but in liberal circles a lot of it is focused on Christians.

3.) Can’t point to where I said that? Big surprise. Apology accepted.
1) Why not leave religion in the home, all of you?
2) Bull
3) I did, you are ignoring it.
Nord,
1.) Liberals leave their religion in the home? Really? If the perverse actions of the liberal religion is stopped in any way, in any manner, by anyone, in the public square, there is a complete hissy fit.
2.) Guess you did not read the report on hostility in this country against Christians.
3.) Specific quote? (Dare you to find it).
