Good.
The US Army has informed Congress that it will grant permission to complete the controversial Dakota Access pipeline near tribal territory.
[…]
The 1,172 mile (1,886km) pipeline is almost finished except for a section under Lake Oahe in North Dakota, where demonstrators have set up protest encampments.
I applaud this pro-environmental move.
Just think how many trucks can be taken off the road on this completion…safer and cleaner for everyonr.
Trucks don’t haul this product over any distance. Try again.
Forget distance. In the USA 70 percent of crude oil is transported via pipeline. In Canada it’s 92.https://www.google.com/amp/www.forbes.com/sites/jamesconca/2014/04/26/pick-your-poison-for-crude-pipeline-rail-truck-or-boat/

Oops per reviewed scientific documents contradict Mr Facebook and family member testimony here as well. Directly mentioning the shale fields of North Dakota and increases in trucks used for transportation. Someone needs to get out of granny’s basement more often.
Nord,
I guess you are against the environment, if you support more trucks…
How do your fellow climate change cultist feel about you supporting trcks belching more carbon into the air?
kevin:
Never did I mention that I was in favor of using more trucks. You are making stuff up once again.
The big issue with the Native Americans isn’t the pipeline per se, but rather where the route is going through some sensitive areas. You really should stay current.
Nord,
Slowing or stopping the pipeline means you favor truck transport.
No it doesn’t. Is it pathology or ego that requires you to make up falsehoods about others?? Or a defense mechanism against the truth?
OMG no sharp objects for you. Too Funny. The big loser in this is Warren Buffett and his investment in rail. I have no idea how much is truck vs. rail except the long lines of tanker cars I see daily and that I read rail is a major transportation source for oil.
I do know Buffett dropped $34 billion on Burlington Northern Santa Fe when his pal Barry Soreto blocked the pipeline and made a fortune on his rail investment. Wish I had $34 billion to toss around. Now, February 2016, he is buying into pipeline company Kinder Morgan.
Maybe they can use rail to hall the 250 truckloads of garbage the eco-warriors left behind at Standing Rock. Oh, oh. Am I allowed to say that? I am so not politically correct.
