Police commissioner Benjamin Grajeda said that authorities only blocked the highway Saturday to tell people about the offer. “Here in this truck right now you can get help,” he said.
Thousands of migrants in the city of Arriaga rejected the plan Friday night, but said they could be willing to discuss it again once they reach Mexico City. Some fear they will be deported if they take advantage of the program.

Everyone should be criticizing Trump. These are dark times and there is a lot of fear out there. The election of Trump, Bolsonaro, and the far right should worry us all. These are people who openly display their power to threaten and mock others. Their base is uneducated, patriotic, vicious, and religious and they are winning. Most of the politicians have always been and are corrupt (See Hillary Clinton), but what we are seeing now is shift from merely robbing the government coffers to openly advancing an agenda of repression.
Among the religious right there are those who are not content to condemn homosexuality or prefer male leaders, but who actively persecute those whose live styles they disagree with. There are those who enjoy violence and seek any pretense to use it. Trump and Bolsonario are such men.

The liberal mindset is why rapists, rape their way through Hollywood, why human traffickers are being lobbied admission to U.S. through the “caravan”, and Keith Ellison gets to beat up his girlfriend with no consequence….people are tired of leftist evil permeating and creating more victims.
That is what leftism does, makes everyone a victim.
