Now if only WEDC would use that policy….

Nord,
Are you saying WEDC does not use that policy?

Yes.

Nord,
WEDC collection policies on loans are just as stringent as student loans.
Is your beef that the legal standing of the loan makes it harder to collect, if loan goes into default, than student loans?
If so, that is NOT what you were talking about in your first, clueless, comment.

No, they aren’t, and you are well aware that they aren’t. Either you are intentionally being dishonest, or are truly uninformed.

Nord,
You implied WEDC was not collecting loan payments, or demanding payback as a matter of policy.
You lied.
I called you on your lie, and you dislike it.

No, k, I suggested that WEDC follow the guidance in the cartoon (see above).
Why must you be so dishonest? Nature? Nuture? Or self-taught? Sad.
And if you want to learn about the loan policies (or lack thereof) of WEDC there is all sorts of info out there for your perusal. But my money is on you not bothering with getting any details, but rather sticking with your ideology…

Nord,
Point to where WEDC does not demand payback?
You made the claim…back it up.

It is not optional to pay back a student loan.

k, can’t you read, or do you prefer not to?? Or is this just another instance where you messed up but are too hide-bound by ideology to admit it ?

Pat,
Sure it is. People default on student loans all the time.
The difference is: not whether payback is demanded, but whether it is dischargeable i a bankruptcy situation.
Nord did not mention that in his first comment. He implied WEDC did not pursue collection action on non-perfomring loans, they do. He lied. He is upset he was not at all articulate in his comment.
Student Loans and WEDC loans both have a vigorous collection policy for loans not being paid.
It was dishonest of Nord to say WEDC does not collect it’s loans.
Now, if his bitch is about the discharge ability in Bankruptcy, that is not the fault of WEDC, but Congress, controlled by Democrats.
Nord has to get clear, in order to prevent his “special brand” of misinformation.

Bankruptcy is rarely an easy process, but it’s notoriously difficult with student loan debt. In fact, the only way to discharge federal student loans through bankruptcy is to prove “undue hardship.” Essentially, you have to prove that you can’t pay back your federal student loans.

Here is exactly what I said, “Now if only WEDC would use that policy….”, in reference to the cartoon. You are again being disingenuous. Why do you feel the need to lie?

Nord,
The cartoon suggests paying back loans.
You said that is not WeDC policy.
I asked you to point to where they make loans without expectation of payback.. you therew a tantrum.
Pat,
That is not what Nord is talking about. He clearly expressed a stance WEDC hands out loans with no expectation of payback. I asked for his evidence. He has none.
I agree student loans are harder to discharge in bankruptcy, but student loan borrowers have same choice to default/not pay as WEDC loans. To imply that WEDC loans are not expected to be paid back is a lie.

Are you now denying you said WEDC does not expect payback of their loans?
Trying to get clear on your tremendous backtracking here.
