I may be the ONLY one interested, but I would love to know the story of the failed migration to a new server.

File backup, database backup, upload, tweak wp-config, bing-bang-boom, what can go wrong? Certs?
If it was a virus or bug, my money is on it being liberal.
About 9 years ago Ann Althouse had major issues with making some kind of move on Blogger. One of the issues for her was the size – she had 7000 posts in her archive, and 1.8G file.

Well, our site and back end is over 150GB, so it was not an insignificant move. I don’t know the details, but I’m happy that we’re back up :)
