At least 41 people were injured and at least nine killed following a troubling spike of shootings in the Big Apple across the holiday weekend. A spokesperson for the NYPD said the majority of the incidents occurred within a 15-hour time period.
Shootings in New York City have doubled every week for the last three weeks. In the last seven days alone, the city has experienced a 142 percent surge in shootings compared to the same time period last year.

CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago’s July 4th holiday marked the third straight weekend that a child has fallen victim to gun violence in the city.
From Thursday at 6 p.m. through Sunday night, 87 people were shot in Chicago. Seventeen of the victims have died, including 7-year-old Natalie Wallace who was fatally shot in Austin Saturday night.
At a press conference Monday morning, Chicago Police Superintendent David Brown expressed condolences to the families of the shooting victims and called for changes to stop the violence.

Yah, I could have been more clear. MKE has very little in “peaceful” demonstrations with rocks, Molotovs, and beaten-down normies. The marches have largely been noisy, but that’s all. (Not that noise is good….)
