The Wauwatosa School District has released its reopening plan for the 2020-2021 school year, opting for full-time in-person learning.
The district announced on its website that it intends to have full-time in-person learning to start off the school year. The district said if COVID-19 cases became present in schools, the district could move to a hybrid model to decrease class sizes, including an in-person learning 2 days a week/virtual learning 3 days a week model.
Of course, their city is going to hell, but this is something.
Surprising, but satisfying.
Local liberals will be upset…
Well, I am glad my old school district is leading the way.
Hey Mar, may I ask how long ago you worked Special Ed? Was that in Tosa too?
No, I wish I could have but I worked in MPS. I went to McKinley,Longfellow and Tosa East. I would have graduated in 1979, if we had not moved.
So, Le Roi is now into beer shaming.
So, now I know Le Roi never lived in Wisconsin. Probably a FIB.
Sorry mar, but you are wrong yet again. I’ve alway lived in the Badger State, and have never spent a night in IL.
And being of solid Bavarian stock I take pride in following Reinheitsgebot. But you are certainly free to swill whatever off-brand and out of date brew you prefer.
Now a question: In the past you claimed to have worked in the medical field for four decades, did you start med school in your early teens?
Umm, Ignorant Le Roi, there are jobs in the medical field other than being a doctor.
But yes, I started working in the medical field right after high school.
Seeing as you are 60 years old, give or take a couple years, how did you jam 40 years in the medical field with decades of teaching? Strange math you use.
You ever hear of working 2 jobs at the same time.
In addition, the 20 years I was teaching, I worked with most severely physically and mentally and fragile students and worked with most of the therapies, nursing, doctors along with doing medical things. Like tube feedings, passing out medications, performing range of motion, changing diapers, checking for medical issues, getting students in and out of wheelchairs, proper positioning, helping with respiratory issues etc.
And working with sick students.
Nice try though in playing the game of gotcha.
Nothing like drinking beers that has authoritarian rules.
Typical liberal beer for typical liberals.
Sure have mar, been working multiple jobs my entire life, and still do. But I would never claim my part time job as a carpenter qualified me as an architect. Looks like you are prone to exaggerating.
I never claimed to be a doctor or nurse Le Roi. But apparently you believe only doctors work in the medical field.
But if you work as a carpenter, you probably know more about architecture than someone who works as a CPA or computer engineer.
Now you have been caught lying again.
Why can’t you just tell the truth once in awhile?
Please Le Roi, stop lying. I think there is a 12 step program to help stop lying.
Well you made all sorts of claims regarding trump and his wonder drug and disinfectant injections. Malpractice on your part?
Nope, just ignorance on your part.
Hopefully you have stopped taking hydroxychloroquine. It has shown to be dangerous, if you look at the supposed science.
As compared to you and trump and your non-science?
That damned supposed science. Like, can you believe it says the earth isn’t 6000 years old?
We should just pray the coronavirus away. I am just sure that will work……
Speaking of Trump, he was fact checked by FOX NEWS! Destroyed his credibility:

Yah, Randall, “re-directing” funds to social workers and parking checkers-cum-speeding ticket writers is not “de-funding.”
Sure.
How about your employer “re-directs” 50% of your net check to, say, Black Lives Matter? Are you “de-funded” or merely “re-directed”?
Dumbass.
Can liberals ever talk about topic at hand???
They can’t even figure out how to start their own blog.
Mar sez: “but I worked in MPS”
The reason i asked is that my father-in-law taught Special Ed at Pulaski (also MPS) for 25+ years, and was head of the SE dept. A Marine, 3-year Korean War POW, came back and became a teacher (tried to re-enlist but the Corp said he was full of TB). He retired ‘90 I believe. He passed away at 65 of cancer in ‘97 and is buried in Arlington.
I thought you two might have crossed paths.
Thank you for your dad’s service, MjM. Your father is a truly great person.
I wonder if I could figure out Blogspot and if I made a blog there, would it even show up on Google if I googled its name, and would it attract more than twenty comments in a month, and will most of those few commenters be anonymous? If so few people respond, should I say I’m “chasing my own tail” or that I’m “talking to myself?”
Wait, if the commenters don’t identify myself, could I be them?
But what if I used an excess of vowels to stretch out words – will not the masses understand My Deeper Meaning? What about if I used boldface or color the text? Or invent nicknames to demean my enemies? Will that not attract attention?
How about sexism, dog-whistle racism, or gun fetishism? Or will I come to realize that I’m saying things that exceedingly few are interested in?
Good luck with that jjf. Every blog software I know of has a back end relational database to store the data. You’ll need to get some assistance.
Jjf, if you started a blog, would you troll yourself?
Would your posts be nonsense?
Would people comment be required to tell a racist joke to be able to comment?
Still waiting to hear your racist jokes you readily admit you tell.
One can tell when Jiffy goes “Anony” and comments on some blogs. He has a very noticeable style. “Meaningless meandering” sort of captures it.
Sorry to disappoint, Dad29, but I can’t remember commenting at your place. Might’ve at some point. Nor commenting anonymously anywhere else, frankly. I was referring to all the people who seem to be commenting anonymously at your blog. Why do they do that?
