Economy Booms in Third Quarter

Wow. This is off a terrible Q2, but a much stronger recovery than any expected as recently as August.

Coming off the worst quarter in history, the U.S. economy grew at its fastest pace ever in the third quarter as a nation battered by an unprecedented pandemic started to put itself back together.

Third-quarter gross domestic product, a measure of the total goods and services produced in the July-to-September period, expanded at a 33.1% annualized pace, the Commerce Department reported Thursday in its initial estimate for the period.

That came after a 31.4% plunge in the second quarter and was better than the 32% estimate from economists surveyed by Dow Jones. The previous post-World War II record was the 16.7% burst in the first quarter of 1950.

Watch the MSM bury this completely with a totally bogus hit piece on Trump’s dog.

Watch the MSM bury this completely

Since when is CNBC not considered MSM?

Can you imagine how much better if liberal states like New York, California, Illinois and Michigan were to open up.
But no, you gotta sacrifice the sheep to hurt President Trump.

penguin is right, it is Biden saying Trump destroyed our economy and tells how he will bring it back and make it better than ever.  Trump is a liar and a bad person, but that is not necessarily what to vote or not vote for.  He has done exceedingly well with the economy.  If not for Covid 19 Biden would have very little to attack besides Trump’s personality in these last days.  I wonder what other commercials the multi-millionaire ‘average Joe’ Biden would be running if not for Covid…

Since when is CNBC not considered MSM?

Yes, CNBC may have reported the 3rd quarter come back, but did they question Biden’s commercials on how Trump destroyed the economy, or give Trump any positive credit for the come back?  Or did they report it and in the same sentence say how it was too bad Trump has been destroying our health to do it?  Or sacrificing lives to build his ego and/or re-election campaign.  They probably gave credit to Biden or the Dem dominant legislature.

I disagree, there are plenty of other issues besides Covid on which to attack trump.

Environment, foreign policy, deficits, his support for white domestic terrorist groups, etc. Add on his serial adultery, 20000+ lies, and profiteering from the office, and we have someone unqualified for the office.

Le Roi, I was specifically talking about the economy, but I see I did not make that clear.  Joe’s latest ads have centered around the bad economy and how he will make it better first and foremost by controlling the virus (which, with his plan would make it worse, at least in the short run).  Yet the economy was very strong throughout Trump’s term and the 3rd quarter of this year showed just how quickly the US economy can come back after an unprecedented self inflicted economic injury in the 2nd quarter.

As far as profiteering, I am betting you can’t prove a bit of it.  The simplest proof is ‘worth’ before the Presidency and after (because I am pretty sure Trump can’t walk in to the IRS office and make binding changes to the tax laws, that is all (currently Dem) legislature).  And as far as profiteering, he won’t be coming close the 10x worth increase of Obama or the roughly 660x growth of the all-time leader FDR.  I haven’t heard about a single new affair Trump has had.  You’d think if he was serial, the time in the office would increase frequency, not zero them out.  Joe’s ads are pretty much 98% lies these days, lying is part of the definition of a politician these days.  Neither are fit for office, that stops me from voting for Trump, but it doesn’t stop you from voting for Biden.  Who has worse judgement concerning politicians?
