Um, Joe… this is all negotiating with other Democrats. There’s not “bipartisan.”
That deal has not been easy in coming. Biden admitted some painful cuts to his programs at the town hall, but the lifelong politician, who campaigned on his ability to reach bipartisan deals, said some losses were inevitable.
“Hey look, it’s all about compromise. You know, it’s – ‘compromise’ has become a dirty word. But it’s bipartisanship and compromise still has to be possible,” Biden said Thursday.
I don’t know, that has been the lynchpin of America politics in our time in my opinion. Parties get super majorities back and forth and the common denominator of the constant change back and forth is that as soon as one party has full control they split up into splinters and often get just as little done as when the majorities are split. Their base loses interest and the other side takes over. Rinse and repeat.

Aside from being an imbecile, BJ’s BBB plan includes spending $15 Billion for 500,000 charging station s across the US by 2030.
Except…
“ Ives of Wedbush Securities said his group estimates it will cost around $60 billion to bring the U.S. up to 500,000 charging stations by 2030, so the Biden infrastructure plan would cover only about 25% of the cost.
An analysis by industry consultant AlixPartners also estimated $50 billion would be needed in the U.S. alone to expand charging to adequately accommodate EV growth within the decade.” – Detroit News
Maybe they can start paying for this by eliminating Pelosi’s $200,000,000 park perk.
