Very nice start but just wonder what a Chief of Transformation Officer does.
We have a Chief Transformation Officer at my company. She’s essentially in charge of any large internal projects that require many or all departments to participate – widescale technology implementations, acquisitions, large restructuring, etc. It is a way of putting one person in charge of a high-level initiative so that department heads can’t go into turtle-mode. I take it as a sign that he’s looking to make big changes in the internal structure of the executive branch.
A Chief Transformation Officer in government sounds like a czar by another name. Sounds good in theory, but as a government position this has cronyism written ALL over it beyond its first well-intentioned iteration. Dems are going to love this one when they get a chance to fill it. If it can be abused they’ll find a way to do it.
Sounds like a menu for instant prosperity in Virginia. Liberls hate it.
The new Virginia attorney General is also off to a good start by investigating corrupt liberals.
