Judge Orders WEC to Follow Law

The only reason this is even in court is because the WEC is a rogue agency that won’t follow the law.

WAUKESHA — A Waukesha County judge on Wednesday ruled that the Wisconsin Elections Commission’s guidance to municipal clerks about filling in missing witness information on absentee ballots runs counter to state law and banned the practice.

Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge Michael Aprahamian issued a temporary restraining order and injunction against the Wisconsin Elections Commission, barring it from advising clerks to follow guidelines it issued in 2016 regarding incomplete witness information on absentee ballots. The WEC in 2016 said if information pertaining to witnesses on absentee ballots is missing a component like an address, clerks are to do all the reasonably can to “cure” the ballot and get that missing information, including relying on election records, personal knowledge, or other databases. Voters or witnesses “may” provide the missing information in person, by phone, fax, email or mail, or voters can request a new ballot. Clerks were advised they could return the ballot envelope to voters to get the information.

It may be illegal to fix stupid, but only if the election clerks are monitored and actually prosecuted for the illegal activity. Does anyone really think that’s going to happen? Especially in Milwaukee where most of Wisconsin’s election magic happens?

  2. dad29

Not to worry!! The WEC passed new regs to facilitate voting for the disabled.

Proof of disability required? Hell, no!

ID of ‘assistant’ required? Hell, no!!

So there is no chain-of-custody on these ballots, nor any proof that the voter–whoever it is–is actually ‘disabled.’

  3. Tuerqas

BUT! BUT! Nobody has shown liberals any proof!!! Making laws allowing it to be pathetically simple to commit fraud doesn’t prove that it exists. And Democrat malfeasance requires a clear data trail that a slug could follow. Admissions of guilt like Fauci? Pshaw, that is Republican manipulation. Where is the real PROOF?
Actually I am insulting slugs, all they really need is for lib MSM outlets to tell them what truth is…

  4. Merlin

Y’all sound like a direct threat to Democrat-cy.

  5. penquin

    >Nobody has shown…any proof!

You’re right – no proof has been shown. The only reason you beleive there was wide-spread election fraud is because you assume there was.

And your past record in regards to your assumptions is not a good one, is it?

Hard to hold an election clerk at fault, when they’re supplanted by operatives like Michael Spitzer-Rubenstein.

    >You’re right – no proof has been shown. The only reason you beleive there was wide-spread election fraud is because you assume there was.

And your past record in regards to your assumptions is not a good one, is it?

And you, of course, see all the new voting laws making it easier and easier to vote legally and illegally as just good laws that no one will break and the SEC as a paragon of integrity.
More bad assumptions? Then why make the comment? Not just to stir the pot and be an evil dick, of course, so why?

Oh, and why did videos of bags of ballots being dropped off after hours and counted after 10pm at night by non-official personnel give not even an impression of suspicion to you?

And I can joke about it because it was on me, but the fact that my eyesight is getting worse and worse as I mentioned at the time, allows me to assume (imo) that a ‘g’, as in penguin, makes sense when a q as in Penquin does not without questioning all the other assumptions I make based on logical evidence into question.

For you to do so over and over, does indeed make you an asshole, but I think everyone else here has already come to that conclusion, so you might just as well own it. I really don’t understand why you whine about being called evil when much of your commentary is there only to try and make someone feel bad or angry or look stupid. If that is what gets you off go ahead and finish yourself off, just don’t link us a video.

    >And you, of course, see all the new voting laws making it easier and easier to vote legally and illegally as just good laws that no one will break and the SEC as a paragon of integrity.

That is a statement, not a question. And your statement is false.

    >Then why make the comment?

Because I believe it is important for the Casual Reader to know your opinion regarding election fraud is faith-based rather than factual.

    >Not just to stir the pot and be an evil dick

Your momma doesn’t think my dick is evil, especially when I start that stirring motion
And she likes my pot too.

    rolls eyes

For real dude – I ain’t whining about your lame “yOu aRE eVIL” retorts. ..rather I find it kind of humorous. Especially how you single me out while ignoring the other commenters who behave far far worse than I ever have.

But if you want to engage in childish taunts then I’ll be happy to return some your way as well. Tell your mom I say “hi”

    > why did videos of…

    Link, please.

Also – the misspelling of my name isn’t the only assumption you have made, there have been many more.

And one more thought – if most of my comments really do make you feel bad, sad, and/or look stupid then maybe you should ask yourself why they make you feel that way.

Or at the very least, stop saying stupid shit…’cause if you are gonna get a case of the sads everytime you get called out on your bullshit then you are gonna have a pretty miserable life.

  9. dad29

Co-conspirator is the word, my friend.

    Penquin…

    Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!

If you would like to visit my 85yr old Mother in her rest home, she would possibly love the company. And if you are bragging about sexual relations with her, please seek help, but I hope you lifted her spirits.

You missed the key word (as usual). In caps:
    >I really don’t understand why you whine about being called evil when much of your commentary is there only to TRY and make someone feel bad or angry or look stupid.
Much of the bad behavior that you also whine about has come about because you couldn’t help yourself with the attempted high-brow contempt or sneaky little word games you get off on. Don’t blame others for not giving you a 15th and 16th chance to show respect or intelligence. I usually try to take each post as a new chance, others don’t and I understand that. Too bad you don’t, but I won’t cry with you over it. You made your antagonistic bed and now you cry about lying in it.

I linked the most compelling video that I found twice, a couple of years ago, and was told it was debunked with no proof or explanation. I don’t bother linking anything for liberals anymore, it is pointless. And I understand that too. Very few liberals accepts information from non-liberal sources…just like you.

Really, thanks for the laughs. Now tell us again how you are not really a liberal because you like guns, etc.

  11. penquin

I hAVe vIDeO bUt I doN’t sHoW iT to YOu pEopLE!!1!?! You’ve been goinjg on&on&on about how the election was stolen, and that is the best you can do when asked to show whatever it is you are talking about?

Heh. And yet you wonder why most folks don’t take those flat-earth theories about Election Fraud seriously…

That aside, labels are REALLY important to you, aren’t they? Even if they don’t fit, you still gotta quickly slap ’em on folks in order to interact with ’em, eh? Which makes total sense – easier for you to lazily make assumptions about other folks if you already have a label affixed. And as a bonus you can just stick your nose in the air and sniff “I don’t talk with those people” after being called out on your bullshit and nonsense.

  12. Tuerqas

Heh, another bad assumption on your part. I don’t still have any of those videos. Why would I have stored a video that no liberal will believe? You are over two years late to that issue. I was referring back to an old topic, as it was related to the post and a perfect example of liberals not believing even convincing video evidence.
Oops, more bad assumptions on your part. I have never once stated that I thought the 2020 election was stolen. I have said that there seemed to be even more fraud than usual based on the new rules and that some of the closer State elections could have been affected, but I have flat out stated that I don’t believe Biden stole the election from Trump.

More assumptions? If ‘most folks’ are liberal, of course they don’t take election fraud seriously, like you, even while crying loudly about Republican voter suppression. If ‘most folks’ are conservative, contrary to your apparently skewed beliefs, the majority (otherwise known as most) believe that many of the laws concerning voting have made fraud easier to commit precisely so it could be committed (and often poo-poo talk about Republican suppression). So depending upon what makes up your ‘most’ you are correct or foolish. On this blog, you are being foolish, at Huff post you would be a hero.

40 years ago in College, I spent 4 weeks in an American Political History course with fraud and suppression as the topic. According to the experts of the time, fraud and suppression have been rampant in America since Washington stepped down and has continued to evolve and improve ever since. And prosecution will never happen because neither Party wants to end either. Both parties use both forms of cheating and the methods of preferred cheating (fraud or suppression) have changed between parties throughout the centuries so neither party wants to have any effective means of stopping, much less prosecuting fraud or suppression.

All you can do is watch the new laws to see where the fraud/suppression will get worse. New gerrymandering or the like guidelines making it harder to vote, suppression will be increasing. If new laws that relax rules on voting, make it easier to commit fraud are added, they were added precisely to commit fraud . That was directly from my Professor and he showed 4 weeks worth of evidence in the past showing it to be true. The newest innovation in fraud is absentee voting.

You can keep your blinders on and believe either that political historians are wrong about fraud and suppression and it has never really happened en masse, evidence to the contrary, or believe that somehow political parties are now full of integrity and over the last 40 years fraud has been all but abolished. I don’t really care which or if your beliefs are not EXACTLY described above so what I say is false by some technicality, you be you. But the fact that you assume there was no significant fraud is a bad assumption based on history, pure and simple.

(That last paragraph has me chuckling again, thanks) You really hate the liberal label don’t you? It is not laziness, it is the ability to read your commentary that makes me and most everyone else here believe you have many more liberal beliefs than conservative ones. Being pro-gun does not a conservative make. And the joke is on you (again), I try and talk to liberals as if they are intelligent way more than anyone else here, because quite often, they are.

  13. Jason

You’re wasting your time on the self admitted Sock Puppet we call Penguin.

  14. penquin

    >That last paragraph has me chuckling again

No surprise there, Most bigots find their prejudices & bias to be quite humorous…especially when called out on it, And yes – your Some liberal didn’t beleive what I said back then, and you’re a liberal so that means you won’t beleive me either attitude is bigotry, pure&simple….it is silly to claim otherwise.

And its not that I “hate” the label, rather I dislike labels in general…and that goes double when they are untrue and are only being said in an attempt to bully & belittle. But having explained that several times already, it is obvious that is too nuanced of an opinion for you to grok.

All that aside – given the way you keep going on&on&on about the massive fraud in this election, one would hope that you have more proof than 40 years ago in College, I took a 4 week course. But since that is all you are able to provide, one can reasonable conclude that your opinion on this issue is faith-based rather than factual.

Of all his different schticks, the Attention-Seeking Troll is one of my least favorites.

  16. Jason

    >Of all his different schticks, the Attention-Seeking Troll is one of my least favorites.

See, total waste of time. NEXT

  17. Tuerqas

And self important blowhards often think so much of their own words that they can’t even contemplate criticism. They must call other people names while building walls of pretense to hold up their own egos. For hating labels so much, you have no problem throwing them at others constantly. What a joke.
