When it comes to actual political violence and not just words, the balance seems decidedly tilted to the Left. What a monster.
Early Sunday morning, 41-year-old Shannon Brandt allegedly ran over 18-year-old Cayler Ellingson with his car following a political dispute in McHenry, North Dakota.
After being charged on Monday with vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of a deadly accident, Brandt admitted that his actions were politically motivated.
[…]
Brandt later called police himself to report the incident. As InForum reports, he claimed that Ellingson had been part of a “Republican extremist group,” and had ordered others to come after him following a political argument.
According to police, Brandt was drunk at the time, however aside from that, very little is known about what transpired.
No one side owns political violence. E we have seen Republicans drive into protesters.
Owen, your rhetoric is asinine. Which side stormed the Capital leaving officers dead?
0 officers will killed in the capital. 1 protester was killed. And I didn’t say that it was exclusive. I said that it tilts. It does.
Johnny, some conservatives are not perfect but compared to liberals, conservatives are Mother Theresa compared to liberals, when it comes to violence.
When was the last time a conservative burned down, rioted and burned down or destroyed and looted businesses?
Sicknick was sprayed with pepper spray, beaten, and then within 24 hours died of a stroke most likely brought on by the stress of the attack! You are full of shit if you think that it isn’t directly related.
By your same mentality Babbit was shot in the shoulder and died at the hospital that night.
Is this a direct result of Biden’s MAGA speech. If Republicans win the house and Senate in a couple of months are we going to see impeachment proceedings on Biden for this?
>Sicknick was sprayed with pepper spray, beaten, and then within 24 hours died of a stroke most likely brought on by the stress of the attack! You are full of shit if you think that it isn’t directly related.
The medical examiner disagrees with you. I’ll trust a medical professional to some anonymous scrub on the internet.
>By your same mentality Babbit was shot in the shoulder and died at the hospital that night.
The medical examiner disagrees with you. Your batting average this year is very low… Yikes.
Ok, Johnny, you couldn’t even get the officers name right.
Just saying.
If you have the proper feels, accuracy of facts is not a concern.
Should this individual be charged with a hate crime modifier? I think so.
Mar, no I didn’t. Brian Sicknick was the officers name.
The Medical Examiner findings say he died of natural causes, a stroke. The USCP said, “The USCP accepts the findings from the District of Columbia’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner that Officer Brian Sicknick died of natural causes. This does not change the fact Officer Sicknick died in the line of duty, courageously defending Congress and the Capitol.”
And if you want to talk about Officer Jeffrey’s suicide, the medical examiner said, “a direct cause and effect relationship between the line of duty work trauma on Jan. 6 and Jeffrey Smith’s death,” adding that Smith had “no prior history of depression, mental health issues or mental health treatment.” He was attacked and hit in the head with a metal pole causing trauma.
So, do you believe the medical examiner on THAT one? Or do you get to pick and choose when you believe them?
But please, continue on with all your fake “Back the Blue” BS.
>And if you want to talk about Officer Jeffrey’s suicide, the medical examiner said, “a direct cause and effect relationship between the line of duty work trauma on Jan. 6 and Jeffrey Smith’s death,” adding that Smith had “no prior history of depression, mental health issues or mental health treatment.”
So, should we give you one out of the three you mentioned? Cause that’s 33.33333% and actually just a touch worse than Tony Ever’s students in the State… You’ve still won a “Hey, it’s not that bad” bumper sticker.
>I said that it tilts. It does
Do you actually keep a running tally of “which-side-is-to-blame” when it comes to political violence? If so, would be interested in seeing what the score actually is…’cause otherwise this sounds like a classic example of “confirmation bias” (which is something most of us struggle with)
“Do you actually keep a running tally of “which-side-is-to-blame” when it comes to political violence?”
Actually, yes.
How many neighborjoods conservatives have burned down?
0
How many businesses in the past 4 years have conservatives burned down?
0
How many police officer deaths are the responsibility of BLM and Antifa supporters vs the Oath Keepers?
How many murders in liberal riots have there been vs conservative riots? Well, no has been killed in a conservative riot.
And the list can go on and on.
