The FBI first learned of Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop, full of incriminating data, in October 2019, an IRS memo shows.
The memo, written by senior IRS Criminal Investigation official Gary Shapley in 2020, reveals how senior law enforcement officials sat on the treasure trove of evidence from the First Son’s computer and waited months before handing over mere excerpts to investigators working the case.
It also directly contradicts an open letter from 51 top former intelligence officials published weeks ahead of the 2020 presidential election which dismissed the laptop as having ‘all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation’.
Remember that Facebook hid and banned users who posted about the laptop.
Remember too that Twitter actually banned the official account of a news organization and anyone who mentioned the laptop.
Remember the dark money the Zuckerburgs paid to inject people into the election process in several key cities in Wisconsin and other states.

They didn’t want much to do with Anthony Weiner’s laptop either. Or Hillary’s bathroom closet server. Or the Clinton ‘charitable’ entities. Or Willy Jeff’s relationship with Epstein. All those investigations begun at the bottom were quashed from above. The Russian Hoax was a siloed political counterintelligence operation run by DoJ/FBI brass that left the rank and file guys in the dark. There’s been no accountability for that whatsoever. The J6 events are looking to be a similarly styled operation. Professional DC Pubbies don’t seem to have any objections to that one either. Or the fact that the sitting president is glaringly mentally incompetent. Crickets.
FBI and Justice are rotten at the top. The current congressional investigations exist not to achieve any measure of justice, but to gain political advantage. I’m not convinced the professional Pubbies aren’t envious of the way Dems have weaponized the federal government for political advantage. These are generally the same tools who think the answer to Dem vote fraud is simply to become better at it themselves. Similarly, their primary objection to the weaponization of the federal government seems to be that they aren’t the ones wielding the weapon.

But I’ll take exception to your statement that “DoJ and FBI are rotten at the top.” It’s NOT just the top. SAIC’s and most of the DC-situated middle management stink, too. If they didn’t stink, you’d see a lot more FBI investigations of politicians and/or Favored Class individuals such as BLM and Antifa.
