Having our bumbling dementia-ridden president meet personally with foreign leaders will only embolden our enemies and worry our allies. This will not got well.
President Joe Biden’s decision to visit Israel caps a week of intense US diplomacy aimed at shoring up its closest Middle East ally and trying to prevent Israel’s war with Hamas from spreading to the region.
The Americans are worried that the audacity of the Hamas attack and the ferocity of the Israeli counter-offensive could spark violence in the West Bank and beyond.
The president will be joining his Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, who’s been on a frantic swing through the Middle East. Mr Blinken has stressed full US support for a forceful response to the deadly Hamas raid, which killed more than 1,400 Israelis.
But he is also trying to mitigate the civilian casualties in Gaza, the enclave that is governed by the Palestinian militant group. Israel has already killed nearly 3,000 Palestinians in relentless airstrikes, and blocked food, water and electricity to Gaza, plunging it into a humanitarian crisis.
Joe has handled this perfectly as a statesman . pressing the Israeli’s to do what necessary to eliminate Hammas within the confines of International law and allowing humanitarian supplies into the war torn areas
Statesmen don’t praise the intelligence of thugs like Hammas and Putin as they kill thousands of men women and children .

Hamas was intelligent enough to get past the best border-control sensors, software, satellites, and armed guards on Planet Earth. Putin is intelligent enough to hold back the vast majority of his military’s abilities to preserve what remains of Ukraine’s citizens.
OTOH, Bai-Den is so stupid that he presses Ukraine to continue its suicidal resistance and–as a bonus–is so stupid that he was cancelled by Egypt, Syria, Jordan, and KSA all at once.
Why would they meet with him? He can’t find his ass with both hands, yet he’s able to ID young girls for sniffing. He can’t walk up a staircase, but can yell loudly that ‘no one needs a rifle with a 100-round magazine.’

Years ago, I asked the Secretary of State when he and I were working in the Senate to write something for me. He wrote a line that I think is appropriate. He said, “It’s not we lead…” Well, I won’t go into it. I’ll wait until later. I’m taking too much time. But the point is this, I was deeply saddened and outraged by the explosion at the hospital in Gaza yesterday. And based on what I’ve seen, it appears as though it was done by the other team, not you.

If superior statesmanship is pissing off the middle eastern nation states by paying Iran and its Muslim Brotherhood proxies handsomely to behave themselves… only to be double-crossed in barbaric fashion… then, yes, Obama 3.0 is headed for glory. Their awesome leadership on Ukraine has also been so spectacular that NATO nations are beginning to pull out of that feckless effort and longterm foreign economic alliances are forming that will prove to be significantly detrimental to US interests. Mexican drug cartels have branched out into the highly lucrative human trafficking trade and operate with relative impunity on both sides of our southern border. A suspicious person might wonder why that deliberate lack of enforcement has all the appearances of a business arrangement.

Just out of curiosity MHMaley, do you believe Joe is still working with all/most of his mental faculties? Do you think Joe himself can ‘defuse’ this?
Answering the first question should answer the second, but in politics logic rarely works anymore except when looking through the ‘who gains power’ lens, so answer both if you don’t mind.
Personally, I think it is the opposite of funny when our political parties can create so much strife and confusion that Biden or Trump would make the nomination for the next Presidential election. We no longer put up the most qualified people for the office. It is all about who can have the least dirt stick to him/her.
