Madison Radio Station Admits to Editing Biden Interview
As if you didn’t think that the media was bad enough, their willingness to cover for powerful liberals is shameful. They have lost any remnants of credibility. In a different era, catching a powerful person saying something stupid in a live interview would be coveted as “news.” Now they are just a propaganda arm.
Civic Media, a progressive talk show based in Madison, Wisconsin, admitted that it agreed to edit parts of its interview with Biden after the campaign called and demanded changes.
They took out a portion where Biden claimed he had ‘more blacks in my administration than any other president, all presidents combined.’
The station revealed the decision fell short of ‘journalistic standards’ and did not ‘meet the expectations’ of their listeners.
allegations the media have played a part in covering Biden’s cognitive decline for years
No S**t, Batman!
Don’t worry, simp cuckold JV will still vote for Biden.
-Now they are just a propaganda arm.
This has been the case for twenty years or more. Why has it taken so many people so long to wise up?
jv, care to answer? Or are you still not wised up?
Still would 100% vote for Biden over Trump. I don’t love either candidate. But frankly, the Biden administration has done more in their 4 years than many other administrations. They managed to keep us out of a recession, they have almost pushed us thru the inflation due to COVID. CHIPS act. Infrastructure. Student Loans. Inflation Reduction Act (really a green energy bill). There is plenty of things I don’t like as well, but every administration will have those.
And right now, a vote for Biden is a vote for Kamala. This is one of the few times in history that the VP may be a deciding factor for me. I don’t think Biden will make it another 4 years in office. So even THEN, I would rather have Kamala than Trump. Trump has a history of surrounding himself with more grifters and felons than the usual politician.
I think that Biden has a 15% chance to win, and I hope he withdraws… but I doubt he will. The odds are very much not in his favor. And if Trump does win re-election, I VERY MUCH look forward to him taking credit for a roaring economy with the exact same statistics we have now. Low unemployment & record high markets. And all the sycophants eating it up. While he probably doesn’t accomplish anything significant… AGAIN. And if that is all it is, I am good with that.
Reagan was able to hide his health and memory issues much better when he reportedly had it while in office. I think Reagan hid it better and honestly didn’t seem as serious as Biden. Go back and watch the first Reagan Mondale debate and tell me that man wasn’t confused at points.
And honestly, Owen has some rose-tinted glasses to think that the press hasn’t covered for ALMOST every president for as long as history. It has always been a give-take relationship.
they have almost pushed us thru the inflation due to COVID
You forgot reckless spending called “recovery act.” Also, please define “almost.” “Almost” as in it’s still there due to reckless spending and deficits, or “almost” as in affording groceries?
Dumping student debts onto other people is an accomplishment. I see.
CHIPS. We’re two years into the spend, and not one foundry is operating. About the same “success” as his electric-car-charger installation project.
Infrastructure? Driven on any City of Milwaukee Pothole Boulevards lately?
Trump has a history of surrounding himself with more grifters and felons than the usual politician. Go ahead. Document that. Don’t forget all the members of the Biden Crime Family and the Donilon brothers!
Biden can take credit for the “jobs”: part-time only for US natives, full-time only for non-natives (legal or otherwise.)
Yes, you have a lot to be grateful for.
Construction takes TIME. And handing out the cash takes time, unless you want all the grift that came with the covid cash. Here is a nice little article.
https://www.statista.com/chart/31834/new-projects-in-semiconductor-manufacturing-in-the-united-states/
And as far as the infrastructure and car charging, that takes time too. Everything from permitting to construction. You don’t just drop these in on the corner and go. This is a decade long project.
And yes, I drive the city of Milwaukee everyday into work. The pothole complaint comes every year.
Grifters and Felons. Trump himself, Rick Gates, Steve Bannon, Michael Cohen, Roger Stone, Papadopoulos, Flynn.
The Recovery Act was Obama. And never forget, Trump added more debt than Biden has… so there is that. The student loans are really no different than the Trump Tax cuts. When Trump cut taxes on corporations, who do you think has to make up the difference now? And odds are, he will want to extend those tax cuts, costing an estimated 4T over the next 10 years. Pick your poison. Personally I would rather see individuals get relief than corporations.
Suddenly an expert in Civil Engineering and Silicon Fab engineering.
Sorry, you saying you’re voting for Biden because it’s a vote for Kamala – that invalidates everything you say from then on. You are a fool.
Jason, i am sorry you don’t have basic reading comprehension.
I read just fine, fool.
“And right now, a vote for Biden is a vote for Kamala. “
I would rather see individuals get relief than corporations.
After all, when your LLC’s taxes go up, your CUSTOMERS don’t pay for that, right?
You even gaslight yourself!
And as far as the infrastructure and car charging, that takes time too. Everything from permitting to construction. You don’t just drop these in on the corner and go.
Don’t let your ignorance interfere with your excuses!!! i just watched 2 2-car/each chargers get installed at a car dealership in 10 days. (The chargers had been on-site for a couple of months; they were ordered about 12 months ago.)
Trump himself, Rick Gates, Steve Bannon, Michael Cohen, Roger Stone, Papadopoulos, Flynn.
With the possible exception of Stone, every single one of those American patriots were “convicted” of “crimes” that Beria would be proud of–and that’s before the whatabout problems. More gaslight.
I love “odds are.” And odds are, he will want to extend those tax cuts, costing an estimated 4T over the next 10 years
Odds are that Biden ordered the hit on Trump, asshole. Do better.
Let’s talk about “odds are.”
“…..Stephanopoulos said he has never seen a president of 36% approval get re-elected.
Biden denied he was polling at 36% approval and then issued a cryptic, veiled threat.
“Wouldn’t a clear-eyed political calculus tell you it’s going to be much tougher to win in 2024?” Stephanopoulos asked Biden referring to the abysmal polls.
Biden issued a veiled threat.
“Not when you’re running against a pathological liar. Not when he hadn’t been challenged in a way that he’s about to be challenged,” Biden said with a sinister look on his face….”
Or his 5-day old challenge to his major donors stating that Trump should be put in a bullseye:
“….July 8, 2024.
It was on that date that President Joe Biden called for putting Trump, the presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee, “in a bullseye,” suggesting an actual rebellion against democracy.
“We’re done talking about the debate, it’s time to put Trump in a bullseye,” Biden said in a call with hundreds of top Democratic donors and bundlers….”
Odds are, indeed.
And there is it, Dad29 going FULL quack job with the conspiracy theories. Love it. Go further down that crazy right-wing rabbit-hole. Or maybe follow more nuts on Twitter. Hard to argue with someone who can’t grasp reality. Here, wrap your melon around this. If Biden ordered it, and it was an official order… he would be IMMUNE from prosecution for it thanks to the Supreme Court. Coo-Coo for cocoa puffs man. All we know is that this is a just a young 20 (Cis white male) year old kid who donated $15 bucks to ACTBLUE and was registered as a Republican. Neither of which really say where his leanings are or reason for doing this. Maybe he was trying to impress Jodie Foster? Maybe he took Trumps own words that if he lost it would be a bloodbath seriously. Maybe he took Biden’s words of putting Trump in the crosshairs seriously. Either way, seems like he was disturbed, probably bullied as a kid, and probably a loner.
What I do know is that someone at the Secret Service needs to LOSE THEIR JOB over this.
Putting a charger on a private property doesn’t come close to the red-tape that you would have to go thru to put them on public property.
Dad29… FELONS and GRIFTERS. CONVICTED.
And as far as my LLCs go, they both have almost ZERO overhead because they are 100% digital and almost pure profit. More or less they only cost me my own time in programming. So, increased taxes do NOT severely affect me. I may only make 10 or 15K on them each a year. So I am in a unique position.
>going FULL quack job with the conspiracy theories. Love it. Go further down that crazy right-wing rabbit-hole. Or maybe follow more nuts on Twitter. Hard to argue with someone who can’t grasp reality.
It was just a couple of years ago people questioning “Social Distancing 6 feet” and “Wearing a mask” and “Getting the vaccine to not get sick”…. Anyone questioning that was labeled a conspiracy theorist by the smooth brains like jv.
>Putting a charger on a private property doesn’t come close to the red-tape that you would have to go thru to put them on public property.
What? Who ever said anything about installing chargers on public property? You really are foolish.
Jason, keep up. Not only do private entities get tax rebates, but 5 billion was allocated to the states for building infra. That would include public locations.
Jason, are you just Paul with a new name? How cute. How is your summer break going, getting ready for 6th grade yet?
I mean, if you want to go full nutjob. It wasn’t even Trump, it was a “crisis actor” double. And he was never shot, when he went down he cut his OWN ear with a razor, old school WWF style. See, my crazy theory is as valid as Dad29s.
Hard to argue with someone who can’t grasp reality
Yup. Since you can’t grasp reality, I’ll type real slowly so you–perhaps–will catch on.
The problem is Biden’s rhetoric. I don’t think that he was “issuing orders”; that’s your conclusion from inside your own little head where the chipmunk is running like crazy in that cage. But his use of violent image and ‘IYKWIMAITYD’ ‘threats’ are stupid, at best. But he’s YOUR President, stupid and all.
Since you cannot understand nuance and have a very hard time with plain English to boot, I won’t bother to go through the SCOTUS ‘immunity’ ruling. I can’t type that slow for that long. Similarly for the “convicted” noises you make, having read your Democrat Party talking points or having heard from from the totes objective MadCow of Rachel.
Putting a charger on a private property doesn’t come close to the red-tape that you would have to go thru to put them on public property.
Hey, dumbass, keep up with the news: Kwik-Trip has the contract. It took Evers until just last month or so to award it. Kwik-Trip is private property. Evers is the slow-wit who sat on the money. We can all speculate about why it took him so long, of course.
Dad29, you literally said that he “Ordered the hit”. That isn’t nuance. That is a direct order. Maybe you have a problem with the English language like Jason has with reading comprehension.
“Kwik Trip is somewhat unique in that the company will actually own and operate the charging stations on their property, meaning it will directly receive the funding.
“In other cases, businesses such as Culver’s or Festival Foods might agree to host a charging station operated by a third party, Wisconsin Department of Transportation spokesperson John DesRivieres said in an email. The outside entity would get the money, not the restaurant or grocery store.”
And up until 3 months ago WI had a law that prevented private companies from charging by the kilowatt hour which held up the process. That is one of the reasons WI was behind everyone else.
And you think the problem is BIDENS rhetoric. That is priceless. Do you really want to go back and look at the inflammatory crap that Trump has said? But sure, in your make believe world it is the problem of one side. Not the guy whose rhetoric drove people on Jan 6th. Not the guy how mocked Pelosi’s husband being attacked. Not the guy who said that there would be a “bloodbath”. I am not here to say one side is worse than the other. It would be in everyone’s interest to tone down attacks.
I always assumed you typed slow because you were scared of the future.
Yes, in mocking your “odds are” crapola.
PLEASE learn how to read English for meaning.
Not the guy whose rhetoric drove people on Jan 6th.
The guy who said “peacefully and patriotically……protest” That guy?
Not the guy who said that there would be a “bloodbath”.
Not only are you incapable of reading English for meaning; you’re unable to assess context. That speech was made to people in Detroit. Trump noted that Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants’ EPA issued regs which would eliminate ICE cars in the near future, meaning that there would be a bloodbath in Detroit jobs (and elsewhere!!) unless Trump were elected and cancelled that EPA demand.
But you regard MadCow the Rachel as a truth-giver. And you probably think that boys can become girls, just like Your President does.
JV>
And honestly, Owen has some rose-tinted glasses to think that the press hasn’t covered for ALMOST every president for as long as history. It has always been a give-take relationship.
Funny, I don’t remember many media cover ups FOR Trump or Bush (though I can remember several false outings by liberal media with the intention of discrediting them. Sure, they did their best to cover up Warp Speed so Biden could and did take credit for it, but I would not call that covering for Trump. I would agree that pre-1980s and before, most news sources might have been willing to cover up mistakes for Presidents past, but not since Clinton when Dems started to really weaponize the media and it split into backing one party or the other. Today there are 2 truths for every political action except for nobodies like Tammy Baldwin who campaign on a couple of bills that nobody can disagree with. All bi-lateral support means today is that the bill is so simplistic and basic that not even the idiots in Congress can disagree with it. Crack down on fentanyl? What an edgy bill.
>If Biden ordered it, and it was an official order… he would be IMMUNE from prosecution for it thanks to the Supreme Court.
Another funny thing on how January 6th was turned by the Dems and their news sources into Trump’s rebellion based on his words, but Biden’s words were what, just temporary senility that wore off after the interview? The only reason SCOTUS had to make that particular decision was because Dems were trying to convict Trump of treason for a few words. I know words have meaning, but that only matters to you and your ilk if Dems say it matters to their followers.
>And never forget, Trump added more debt than Biden has… so there is that.
And speaking of words having meaning, you are wrong here. The DEFICIT, which was at an all time high because of Dems shutting down the economy (not Trump) during the Pandemic has gone down from that historic high. Anyone would have ‘succeeded’ at reducing the deficit after the pandemic years, but if you look at debt, Trump added 7..8 trillion in 4 years, over a quarter of which were pandemic effects (and 4 trillion from previous administrations) which Congress passed and he signed (as opposed to illegal executive orders from Biden because he could not legally pass half the shit he has tried to give away to his patrons). Despite all that, with half a year left the debt under Biden has increased by 6.7 trillion and is forecasted to hit 7.9 trillion by the end of his first term so he can only say that he has a smaller debt increase than Trump through November or so. i.e. he has less debt than Trump (with the economy down for one year out of four) after 3 and a half years than Trump did after 4 years. This does not include his 10 and 20 year plans, just what the increase is currently calculated at. So with the boom of re-opening the economy, he will still have added more debt than Trump who let legislations take their course by the time his term is over.
>I mean, if you want to go full nutjob. It wasn’t even Trump, it was a “crisis actor” double. And he was never shot, when he went down he cut his OWN ear with a razor, old school WWF style. See, my crazy theory is as valid as Dad29s.
And there it is, you are so well conditioned that attempted murder is fine as long as the target is someone you are told to hate and fear. No ‘sorry for the losses at the rally’ no condemnations…I guess we should be impressed that at least you are not following the wingnut majority of liberals who have been saying ‘too bad Crooks was a bad shot’ on Facebook. You are damned moderate!!! Instead of any of that, there is just a defense that ‘I can say crazy things too’ so your words are therefore invalid. I know they don’t teach it anymore, but logically you are using a fallacy called a straw man, that is using a false equivalent to pretend to prove or disprove a statement.
And I know you have already ruled this out because of bias and lack of critical thinking skills, but if you look up Obamacare history as an example most of the costs were set up to start costing the serious money after 2012 (his re-election) and then further increase after 2016. Dems are great at that, Biden’s handlers plans are 10 and 20 year plans as well so his numbers are hidden and will affect the next few Presidential terms as much as his own. Of the 7.8 trillion that Trump ‘added’, 4 trillion was already law and over half of that from the Obama admin. His largest addition to the debt was his tax relief which i, not super-wealthy, was very grateful for, and that is treated as a static fact by liberal news sources. There were no liberal studies done on how much that tax relief for corporations law affected GDP growth. If 2.1 trillion was made in the US from that law then the ‘debt increase’ for that particular law was, in actuality, a wash.
One last interesting nugget: Executive orders that cost money are generally for expenses that either Congress did not approve or are small enough that they are beneath the level where a legislative law is necessary.
Trump’s executive orders added about 10 billion to the national debt, the rest was through laws passed during or before his Presidency began.
Biden’s executive orders added about 2 trillion to the national debt, the rest was through laws passed during or before his Presidency began.
And Democrats are the ones running ads about the downfall of our Democracy if Trump is elected even as the Dem executive branch and their liberal judge allies are taking over legislative duties. 4 to 8 more years of Dem rule and the Legislative branch will be an anachronism. we are losing our form of Government, but it has zero to do with Trump or Republicans except in the fact that reps are not fighting back.
And one other thing, JV:
>Dad29, you literally said that he “Ordered the hit”. That isn’t nuance. That is a direct order. Maybe you have a problem with the English language like Jason has with reading comprehension.
Dad29
>I love “odds are.” And odds are, he will want to extend those tax cuts, costing an estimated 4T over the next 10 years
Odds are that Biden ordered the hit on Trump, asshole. Do better.
“literally” he said: Odds are that Biden ordered the hit on Trump, asshole. Do better
I have used the words I, have, killed, four, and Presidents. I have never strung them together, but I did say them all…you see it is called context. Demonstrating the failure in using the phrase “Odds are” was the meaning of the statement. It is you that needs education in the English language, though you did use the word literally correctly denotatively speaking, I guess.
Dad is right, but I am not confident that you have the independent mind strength to do better.
“odds are” is the general term for the best betting odds. I originally used the term to confirm something that Trump SAID he would do, and that is extend the tax cuts. The reason I used the term is because anything can change, but the “odd are” that he will extend them.
Dad29 said “odds are” to a crackpot scenario (that he probably believes), that is not anywhere near being true or “odds are”. And then tried to back it up the crazy with an entire post of circumstantial facts. But sure, take the two statements as equal. Nothing he said was hyperbolic or in jest.
I stand by my “Odds are” statement. Does Dad29?

There isn’t a SINGLE instance anywhere saying that the Trump Tax cuts paid for themselves.
IMO, we should be extending cuts for small businesses & middle class and cranking UP the tax rate on corporations and wealthy households.
No point in discussing this further.
>There isn’t a SINGLE instance anywhere saying that the Trump Tax cuts paid for themselves.
Nor is there likely to be, I don’t know that there is a metric to measure it. However, with computer progresses, crunching numbers gets more and more able so I don’t know if there is a way or not. It is possible that the tax breaks caused a bigger drain, but odds are that it did not:). One thing is certain, though. The 2.1 trillion number is not static. The tax breaks had an effect on the economy and I believe it was positive which means that the actual number will end up being smaller than the static number.
>IMO, we should be extending cuts for small businesses & middle class and cranking UP the tax rate on corporations and wealthy households.
In dreamland I fully agree with you. The tax breaks to the middle class were very much needed and my wife are definitely feeling the pinch during these Biden years. And the tax breaks to corporations were unnecessary for keeping them in business. However, with the global economy of today, corporations can move their jobs and offices to other more business friendly countries at any time. If US corporate taxes are not generally competitive we lose it all or at least the more tax heavy aspects of the jobs out of the country. You cannot, despite what Dems say over and over, force a corporation to stay in your country anymore and they don’t even try, they just promise. Biden commercials say he will close corporate tax loopholes. If that were true, why didn’t he do it in his first term? If it actually has the effects that Dems say it will (Corporations just accepting the tax increases without any negative economic effects) why didn’t he do it in the first term. Talk about a real re-election feather, it would have been a great thing to campaign on, but those are his donors and he won’t do it. Odds of that happening is not in your favor.
All he has are the factual lies he (read liberal news) continually feeds you that you gobble up, like the debt vs deficit lie, the ‘historic highs’ in job creation, which was really just re-opening the economy that they shut down by force, and my personal favorite, that they have lowered the costs of families every day expenses. Sure, after they raised costs by over 20% in 3.5 years they then lowered the growth of inflation, woooo. The current annual inflation rate is 3%, but between May and June, inflation edged lower (-0.1%) on a monthly basis, the first decline since the pandemic. So for the first time in his Presidency the cost of living went down on a month by month basis by -.01% which could just as easily be attributed to Trump election anticipation for all that Biden DID something about it. Both Obama and Biden took over after huge blows to our economy and then took credit for what would have happened with no Government actions whatsoever, an eventual recovery. Sure their job gains looked great right after their actions that retarded our economy, but any free thinking idiot can see that the overall job numbers weren’t actual increases. Their numbers may have gotten back to even with older figures before their major economic fuck-ups in the first place, but that is it. For that matter, why didn’t Biden take away the tax cuts? I know, do you?
