Ukraine Invades Russia

Ukraine is no longer fighting a defensive war. They are invading Russia.

Ukraine launched more than 100 drones at Russia and the occupied Crimean Peninsula overnight, Russian news reports and the Defense Ministry said Saturday.

The strikes set an arms depot on fire just kilometers (miles) away from one struck by Ukrainian drones earlier this week, in an attack that wounded 13 people and also caused a huge blaze. Arms and ammunition depots were also hit on Saturday in Russia’s southern Krasnodar region.

The “victory plan” that Zelenskyy will present to U.S. President Joe Biden will include long-range strike capabilities and other weapons long sought by Kyiv, and will serve as the basis for any future negotiation with Russia, Zelenskyy told reporters.

    ” no longer fighting a defensive war….”

That’s a narrative framework. The Ukies are getting smashed by Russkie troops on the eastern portion of Ukraine–the one with largely Russian population.

Zelenskiy’s missile-tricks–just like those of Israel, dropping MOABs on Lebanon–are designed to provoke a very serious reply from Moscow (or Iran, in the Israeli case). The hope of both Zelenskiy and Netanyahu is that that reaction will finally drag the US into the war with US warriors.

    Good luck with that.

By the way, here is Zelenskiy’s “plan?”

    Zelenski’s ‘victory plan’ demands include:

to allow unrestricted long range missile strikes into Russia
to invite Ukraine in the borders of 1991 to join NATO at a nearby date
to immediately negotiate and accept Ukraine’s membership in the the European Union
to permanently supply advanced heavy weapons to Ukraine
to provide additional hundreds of billions of dollars for ‘reconstruction’ without any restrictions attached to it

    Oh yah. Sure.

An expansion of hostilities beyond Ukraine’s borders is not in the EU’s best interests. Their own countries will serve as battlegrounds and the utter dysfunction of NATO will be exposed. Seems like they’re all waiting for someone to come along and explain the little man’s future to him.
