Democratic State Senator Lena Taylor was cited for disorderly conduct following an incident in a Milwaukee bank Friday afternoon in which she used racist language against an African-American teller, multiple sources told News/Talk 1130 WISN.
Taylor, who is also African-American, called the teller a “house n****r” after that teller would not cash for Taylor an $831 check for which there were insufficient funds.
Milwaukee Police officers, who were coincidentally in the Wells Fargo Bank at 735 W. Wisconsin Ave. on an unrelated call, overheard Taylor berating the teller and intervened. A shift lieutenant arrived on the scene shortly thereafter and, after viewing the bank’s security camera footage, issued Taylor a municipal citation for disorderly conduct.
Not surprised.
Is this the same Lena Taylor accused of being involved with 20 people registered to vote at her mother’s address. wonder who they voted for?
So down the rabbit hole we go. Taylor’s lawyer is trying to get the citation (ticket) tossed out like nothing ever happened. This is not the first time. In 2009, Taylor got a ticket which was “reviewed” and dropped and later reinstated after someone made a stink. I’m have to try this the next time I get a ticket.
Of course, Lena is a pure as the driven snow, right? In 2016, an insurance company had a problem with renewing her (auto ??) policy because of her marijuana use. Apparently, she does not play well with others as she has a huge staff turnover rate. The list goes on but Assembly Majority Leader Steineke sums it up pretty well, “The details emerging today paint a picture of reprehensible conduct by an elected official.” Of course, Sen. Taylor has a lot of company in that club.
I won’t excuse or apologize for how Taylor behaves, but if that quote from Steineke is true it just exemplifies the hypocrisy of the man, as he is a long time member of the reprehensible conduct club.
Citation missing.
is excusable in some worlds because of the source of the statement. No, calling someone the house***r and then having your attorney try to use your position and race to quash the citation is reprehensible behavior. Of course, the leftist MSM buried this story quicker than OJ ditched the knife.
