IRS Fiasco

Soooo… taxes will be higher and even more complicated, but the IRS is in no position to help at least half of the people. This is government working?

WASHINGTON (AP) — Filing a federal tax return is about to get more complicated for millions of families because of President Barack Obama’s health law. But they shouldn’t expect much help from the Internal Revenue Service.

Got a question for the IRS? Good luck reaching someone by phone. The tax agency says only half of the 100 million people expected to call this year will be able to reach a person.

Callers who do get through may have to wait on hold for 30 minutes or more to talk to someone who will answer only the simplest questions.

Income tax rules on state and Federal level is a game of “gotcha”.

One can diligently call the agency, get an answer to the question, even get it in writing, detail who you talk to, and when you talked to them, get audoted and handed a bill for not doing the EXACT opposite of what the agency told you to do originally!!!!

    I know it well!

“The [taxing agency] cannot take responsibility for the erroneous written, or oral, advice it gives.”

That was directly from an auditor in a sales tax audit I suffered under hostile, anti business, oppressive Marxist, Democrat, Jim Doyle Auditor handed me a 20K+ plus retroactive bill for doing what DOR told me, and admitted her agency gave wrong advice, originally, on issue! (but agency admitting their error that does not matter in intial determination of audit, you still get the bill!)

2.5 years later, and 10K in legal and accounting fees, later, I ended up getting a 4K refund on the audit. I can never get back that time and money spent proving my innocence!

Liberal, Democrat, taxing authorities are outlaws commiting crimes against the innocent. We should abolish the IRS and DOR…period.

I testified before State Senate on a bill to fix this problem (and the DOR slinked out of the room when I got done testifying like rats scurrying), but Jim Doyle blocked the bill at the time. Democrats just plain support overt abuse of taxpayers.

I found Democrat policies disgusting before this, but I did not realize just how bad the Democrat abuse of citizens truly was until this happened.
