Sen Elizabeth Warren has said her 2020 presidential rival Michael Bloomberg ‘has to answer’ for allegedly sexist remarks he made against women at the company he founded, and called for the billionaire to release the women behind the allegations from their non-disclosure agreements.
Warren responded to reports that the New York City mayor has been the subject of a number of lawsuits claiming he fostered a culture of harassment and discrimination at Bloomberg Inc during a campaign event on Monday in Fort Madison, Iowa.
‘When women raise concerns like this, we have to pay attention,’ the Massachusetts Democrat said, according to ABC News.
‘We have to listen to them, and if Michael Bloomberg has made comments like this, then he has to answer for them.’
