Remember when Georgia largely opened their economy three weeks ago and some people predicted an explosion in cases and deaths? Yeah, not so much.

Cases in Georgia Continue to Decline After Opening
}
I wonder what our Chicken Little folks here to say about this?
And It seems like Dr. Fauchi and other medical experts are wrong. Again.
Or in other news,
>There are some who say we shouldn’t even be showing the 14-day window since the data is likely incomplete.
Since we’re only testing people who think they are sick, or who their current medical care professional thinks they are sick, should we be showing any data? – since we KNOW it’s incomplete.
Don’t worry, Jason, everyone in the White House is being tested every day!
So, here is More Deaths jjf, just hoping for more deaths.
Most normal people would say that’s good news and hope the trend continues.
But then jjf and most liberals are not normal people.
I bet jjf still has faith in Dr. Fauchi.
>Don’t worry, Jason, everyone in the White House is being tested every day!
Every week is the same, the troll has nothing but pivots.
I don’t see any reason to make that reporting change except for numbers manipulation, so I wonder what the end goal results that are desired.
I am going to guess (note guess, opinion, not fact) that the reason is to show a deeper slide down now, so as we open up, the increase will be more pronounced thus giving them ‘reason’ to shut everything down again. It may be bad for the economy, but it is great for grabbing power and limiting rights.
That is one possibility Tuerqas. The opposite could also be true; the deep slide makes it look like opening now was the right thing when later data may not show it was, and that has short-term political advantage. Either way I agree that there is no reason to make the change and agree it looks like manipulation by the Kemp administration.
I don’t see where jjf is hoping for new deaths. Can someone point out where jjf said that? It seems to me jjf is pointing out important notes to the graph to make sure it is taken in context.
Yeah, RF, I don’t know where they get that. But They Do.
And yet on the other hand, when the numbers are low and the hospitals aren’t overflowing, they’ll claim it’s all a hoax and that the lockdown was unnecessary. So who’s cheering for deaths?
Randall, ever since the “medical experts” were proved wrong with the numbers of deaths have been lower than predicted, jjf and others have been thoroughly disappointed the numbers were wrong. They wanted so badly those high numbers, millions of people dying, to be right.
And not once, that I know of, have jjf et al have said something to be the effect of being happy the numbers were wrong and there have been far fewer deaths.
Further, even useful idiot, Le Roi even said those increasing deaths from suicide, overdoses and increasing domestic were a matter of poor choices. Those lives mean nothing to him.
No, Mar, I’m glad the numbers are lower than they could’ve been.
Aren’t you? Isn’t everyone?
mar:
So you think suicide, drug use, and “increasing domestic” are naturally occurring in the environment, and not due to choices made by individuals?? Jumping off a building, shooting up, or taking a swing at your spouse occur naturally according to you, eh?
What happened to personal responsibility that alleged conservatives always spout about? Doesn’t apply in marworld.
Libs crying the science shows, they are wrong and petty tyrants.
This is just a great day, when libs cry over their tyranny being destroyed.
jjf, that’s nice you finally said that you are happy the numbers are down.
I knew you could do it.
Le Roi, that’s about the dumbest thing you have ever said and that is quite the accomplishment.
How about the lockdown being a factor in these deaths? How about the isolation that people endured?
You’re really kind if ghoulish.
What’s wrong mar, can’t answer a couple questions?
Le Roi, you made yourself so irrelevant, it’s not worth responding to a ghoulish liar like yourself.
Hey mar, you are the one saying drug abuse, suicide and domestic violence are naturally occurring in our society, and not the result of a choice, not me.
The numbers are mostly speculation. Nobody knows how many people had or died from it. Many are not being reported. Many are mis-diagnosed. Corona is being blamed for many other actual causes of death. Just like influenza, statistics are filled with errors and unknowns. The media has the world brainwashed into thinking this requires shutting down the economy versus doing little to nothing for influenza. Need proof, read the following:
COVID-19:
Approximately 4,656,639 cases have been confirmed worldwide. There have been 1,467,884 cases in the U.S. as of May 17, 2020.*
Flu: The World Health Organization estimates that 1 billion people worldwide get the flu every year.
In the U.S., for Oct. 1, 2019 – Apr. 4, 2020, the CDC estimates that there were 39 million to 56 million cases of flu. (The CDC does not know the exact number because the flu is not a reportable disease in most parts of the U.S.)
We don’t have stay at home lock downs to reduce traffic deaths, influenza deaths, etc., because it’s not economically feasible. Corona should no different.
Guinness has it. Besides, the CDC curves showed that the Chinee Lung-Rot on the down-slide since mid-April or so nationally.
Current CDC data shows an uptick in reported case in the last week.
So what, Le Roi.
A more important thing is the number of hospitalizations and deaths.
Are they going up?
No.
Should we be shutdown over something that’s less of a risk than influenza? No.
Given the results, should we be paying any attention at all to the statistics? No.
Should we all be wearing masks and staying home? No.
So what you ask? The what is the incorrect statement: “Besides, the CDC curves showed that the Chinee Lung-Rot on the down-slide since mid-April or so nationally”.
Le Roi, for all the talk about common sense and following one’s own guidelines, I hear so little of it here. You think they’d be swapping tips like they do about guns and ammo and protecting their families. It’s like they don’t have a concern in the world… or they’re not willing to say it out loud.
LeeeeeeeeeeeeeeRoy’s disdain for grade-school mathematics (showing something here?) is once again apparent. Zillions more tests WILL produce more instances of “positive.” But golly gee, Batman, those “positives” were asymptomatic or so mild as to be dismissed as seasonal allergy or colds.
Jiffy, once again foiled by facts, stamps and rants about ammo because it’s clearly related to the topic of the thread. Next: WWJD?
But, can you trust Georgia’s data?
https://www.ajc.com/news/state–regional-govt–politics/just-cuckoo-state-latest-data-mishap-causes-critics-cry-foul/
So if we don’t test the virus will go away, right? Like traffic deaths being eliminated if we quit doing incident reports.
And your statement is still false no matter how you spin it.
Anyone remember Walker water-carrier Christian Schneider?
Dad29, you ignore the question I ask. What measures are you and yours taking? Why isn’t that a common topic of discussion here? It’s all “Wolverines!” and no “I’m washing my hands.”
jjf: Schneider was an integral part of the Kyle Wood hoax. Breathlessly told the story without doing any investigating. Told me all I needed to know about him.
https://isthmus.com/news/news/how-the-kyle-wood-hoax-went-viral-self-proclaimed-conservative-watchdogs-spurn-reporting-basics/
Le ROI, I bet if we test you, me or others, we will see numerous of other viruses on our body and clothes. Some of them might even be deadly. Some can be transferred to other people.
Do we shut down for those viruses as well?
What’s your point, mar, there are viruses all over, of all sorts. Not all are contagious or fatal. You aren’t making any sense…, again.
He’s grasping at invisible imaginary straws at this point.
Yeah, Mar. Let’s shut down for viruses that don’t pose any threat. Because why, I guess we’ll just rely on your common sense and 100% certainty.
Well, jjf, you and Le Roi have been completely wrong and I have been right all along.
When you can match that, let me know.
What am I wrong about? And what proof do you have that says I am?
Or are you just making stuff up again to salve your ego?
Le Roi, just following your logic.
LeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeRoy, I know you’re immune to facts, so don’t bother to look at this CDC chart: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/covid-data/covidview/index.html?CDC_AA_refVal=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cdc.gov%2Fcoronavirus%2F2019-ncov%2Fcovid-data%2Fcovidview.html
Yah. “Declining” rate in 9 of 10 US regions, on “decline” from 1-6 weeks…
Know something before you blow pixels, LeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeRoy.
Le Roi, let’s start with hospitals in Wisconsin being overrun.
You and jjf said they would be, I said they wouldn’t.
You mocked me about it.
So, which hospital in Wisconsin was overrun? Not one.
So, I answered your question.
Now answer mine.
What did you get right?
And provide proof.
mar:
I never said the WI hospitals would be over run, because I don’t have that information.
You deserve each and every mocking, if for no other reason than your continued assaults on reality.
For starters, I know Keith Hernandez never murdered anyone, and that you can’t win a conservation, and that you should only take medicines prescribed by medical professionals, and that you should not inject disinfectants into your body, and that you don’t know much about anything but juvenile taunts. Satisfied?

>Schneider was an integral part of the Kyle Wood hoax. Breathlessly told the story without doing any investigating. Told me all I needed to know about him.
You mean like Dan Rather? Sorry you might need to ask your mom or dad to tell you about “Rathergate”.
Le Roi, you just lie and lie and lie. Unless you have dementia, which is also a distinct possibility.
Jason, are you changing the subject?
