The unimaginable. Like many, I’ve been in and watched hundreds of parades – including many, many with my children and friends. I can’t imagine the evil that makes someone do this.
Police have said there were “some fatalities” after a car ploughed into a parade in Wisconsin.
Footage posted online shows a red sports utility vehicle (SUV) driving through a Christmas parade in the city of Waukesha, west of Milwaukee, at around 16:40 local time (22:40 GMT).
Police chief Dan Thompson said it hit more than 20 people including children.
He confirmed people had died but said they would not give details until family members had been told.
Mr Thompson said officers had recovered a suspect vehicle and a person of interest was in custody, but gave no further details. He added the investigation was “very fluid” and the injured has been taken to hospital by ambulance, police and family members.
Police fired at the car to try to stop it, he said. The FBI is assisting with the investigation.
I have a feeling this was a homegrown terrorist, perhaps due to the Rittenhouse verdict.
If true, then the blame is squarely on the driver and liberals who fueled the fire with their lies and hatred in the Rittenhouse case.
Whatever else, he’s another beneficiary of Milwaukee County’s VERY lax judicial system.

The only political angle to shoot the metaphorical bullets at SO FAR is what DAD said above. We can indeed thank the liberal led charge to free criminals and alleged criminals at every step of the criminal system process and at the earliest possible moment. If our criminal justice system was currently being led by conservatives, this ‘incident’ would very likely not have happened, pure and simple. The leadership moves back and forth between the parties and it is events such as this that swings the pendulum.
This is a tragedy that should make people first feel sorrow and sympathy for the victims and then reasonably consider the causes from multiple angles rather than the single political angle that polarized news sources will put out. 50% of yearly homicides are committed by repeat offenders. That is considered proven fact by the FBI. Liberals should actually think about that for once before they continue supporting their leader’s programs.

Actually, I was talking about older ones, but as i admitted my memory is leaving slowly. Who was that Hispanic that killed someone on his lawn (I think in Florida?) and the left had him convicted as a white racist or some other sort of righty extremist within 24 hours? Maybe he feared being identified and arrested and just hit the gas, not knowing there was a parade beyond the barricades. At this point he is pot committed, you just drive to get away.
I have NO idea what the exact circumstances were yet, I am sure we will hear about all of this in the next day or two. But again, my scenario makes more sense that he was avoiding being re-arrested while out on bond than he was some crazed BLM revenge-seeking person that you painted him out to be. We can speculate all we want, but ultimately we are just guessing and projecting at this point.
