The West Bend School District announced today that Bill Greymont, the lead principal of East and West High School, has resigned his position, effective at the end of the school year. In an announcement to his staff today, he stated:
After much thought, I have made the decision to resign from my position as principal of East and West High Schools, effective June 30. I feel I am not living up to my core belief that family comes first and I need to find a way to increase my presence as a father and a husband. Being the principal of one of the largest high schools in the state of Wisconsin makes that difficult.
The student riot, the Hiring of the soon to be departed East AD who completely mishandled the firing of Don Gruber ( the East GBB coach ) and subsequent attempt to rehire him and turning teacher Tanya Lohr into a martyr all added up to the this announcement
The school board candidate who tried to make her husband the aggrieved person in the Gruber firing and hiring of a new coach will not be able to capitalize

Looks like he made a quite a few messes that the Superintendent or Board had to clean up after. The early announcement makes it look like there is some kind of mutual agreement to part ways. Some may say he is being thrown under the bus. To me, it looks like strong leadership in action. Then again, I am not privy to any of the inside information.
