CARACAS (Reuters) – The recent wave of lootings and food riots in crisis-hit Venezuela has left three people dead in the last week, authorities and a rights group said.
The state prosecutor’s office is investigating the deaths of a 21-year-old man in eastern Sucre state on Saturday, another 21-year-old man in the Caracas slum of Petare on Thursday, and a 42-year-old woman in the western state of Tachira last Monday.
All three suffered gunshot wounds during chaotic scenes outside supermarkets, which have become a flashpoint for violence and looting amid scarcities of basics across the South American OPEC member country, according to local rights group Provea.
This is what liberals do to a country when socialists have destroyed all economic engines in a country.

When those socialists pick that country dry and the Canadians waiting in line can no longer get health care by fleeing the country and the country starts socializing the oil, food, and other industries, it will get as bad.
Canadian socialists seem to have some restraint, which is rare.
The socialists in Venzuela gorged themselves on other people’s money, now it’s a destructive killing field mess.

Well it certainly won’t be the former ruling elite that owned 95% of private property and gave Chavez the foothold he needed to get elected.
I don’t have an answer, but I don’t think you do either. If I were a resident of Caracas I would rather have Trudeau give me advice than trump, or WMC either.

The people were eating, and not being murdered in mass, before Chavez.
Caracas alone has had over 100,000 murders since rise of Chavez in last decade.
I do have the answer: free pmarket capitalism that has a legal system in place to enforce vigorous private property rights and a plan that expels all socialists from the country. That is the healing cure.

Venzuela was circling the drain long before that.
It’s oil production was substantially down from pre-Maxist takeover highs. Even during period of high prices.
