Wow. Prayers for the victims and the people of Las Vegas.
(CNN)At least 50 people were killed in a mass shooting overnight on the Las Vegas Strip, police said, the deadliest in modern US history.
A hailstorm of bullets and the subsequent stampede left more than 200 people injured, officials said. The crowd was watching a concert by country music superstar Jason Aldean, Las Vegas Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said Monday morning.The gunman, 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, was firing from the 32nd floor of the nearby Mandalay Bay hotel, Lombardo said. Paddock was eventually killed by police.
Like thousands and thousands of other people, I was there last week. I spent most of last week at the Delano (the other gold tower that’s part of the Mandalay Bay complex).
While normal people pray for the victims and their families, Hayley Geftman-Gold, Vice President, Senior Counsel, Strategic Transactions at CBS posted to Facebook, “If they [referring to Republicans] wouldn’t do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs will ever do the right thing. I’m actually not even sympathetic bc [because] country music fans often are Republican gun toters.”
While CBS did eventually fire this person, it is impossible to ignore the raging hatred of the left for their ‘anything they want’ definition of a basket of deplorables. Certainly, the shooter was mentally off but what about people like this Geftman-Gold person that repeatedly make these kind of sick comments. My opinion is is not a mentally healthy person but there appears to be many on the left that share her view of the world.
This is coming from a liberal mindset that thinks baby killing by abortion is just dandy…wow.
I’m glad CBS fired this person. What she said is a terrible thing to say, and she evidently harbors some misguided feelings for people who don’t share the same beliefs as she does.
With that said, these type of vile statements have been uttered by people on the left and right.

From CBS to MSNBC to the Huffington Post, a laundry list of lefties thought Steve Scalise deserved to be shot. This appears to be a general derangement of liberals. Parsing words to twist Robertson’s statement is piss poor justification for mental illness.

Actually, I am wrong. In today’s America, there is no left or alt-left. They are not alternative, they are mainstream. As the left’s political and judicial losses have mounted, the lefties in our Country has become more and more enraged, irrational and radical. Conservatives are hated as racist, sexist, and a laundry list of other words that end in ‘..ist’.
Opening fire on a baseball practice or a crowd of innocents at a concert does have its’ merits according to this new mainstream of our society. Killing a few of ‘them’ is OK because ‘they’ deserved it.

This will be good for the weapons industry. Their stock has been down and sales down since the election. There’ll be the fear that “they’re” coming for our guns, so more guns will be sold.
My recommendation is to buy stock while it’s down because it will be going up.

Bill, you took prayers for victims, that Owen started this out with, to something political by making it a right versus left issue. Evidently your hatred of of left, or thought to be left, clouds your overall perception.
