About Owen

• I was born during the Ford Administration.
• From age 2 until age 11, I lived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
• From age 12 until age 25, I lived in Texas before moving to Wisconsin.
• God has blessed me, but not with infallibility
• I am a proud graduate of Texas A&M University with a BBA in Management
• I also have a MBA with a concentration in finance from Lakeland College
• I am a geek (I work in technology)
• I don’t eat vegetables, but I’m softening on that stance as I age
• I tend to drive too fast, despite my car’s shortcomings
• I am married to the woman of my dreams
• I have 4 children
• I read almost exclusively non-fiction
• I love history
• My father died when I was 16
• I hunt
• I find bullet lists to be convenient
• I enjoy a cup of Earl Grey tea in the evening
• Jed and I were roommates (called ol’ ladies) for 4 years in college
• I appreciate few things more than a well-reasoned argument
• I eat my steaks warm, bloody, and big
• I played the drums from 6th grade through the end of college
• My favorite sport to watch and play is football (tackle only)
• I like rock, heavy metal, classical, country, pop, and musicals
• I am a news junkie
• I am a practicing Lutheran (the original protestants)
