Turning to her email controversies, Clinton said she would “do my part to provide transparency to Americans — that’s why I’m insisting 55,000 pages of my emails be published as soon as possible” and turned over the server.
“I won’t pretend that this is anything other than what it is: the same old partisan games we’ve seen so many times before,” she said. “So I don’t care how many super PACs and Republicans pile on. I’ve been fighting for families and underdogs my entire life and I’m not going to stop now.”
WASHINGTON (AP) — Hillary Rodham Clinton relented Tuesday to months of demands she relinquish the personal email server she used while secretary of state, directing the device be given to the Justice Department.
The decision advances the investigation into the Democratic presidential front-runner’s use of a private email account as the nation’s top diplomat, and whether classified information was improperly sent via and stored on the home-brew email server she ran from her house in suburban New York City.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Dozens of emails that traversed Hillary Clinton’s private, unsecure home server contain national security information now deemed too sensitive to make public, according to the latest batch of records released Friday.
In 2,206 pages of emails, the government censored passages to protect national security at least 64 times in 37 messages, including instances when the same information was blacked-out multiple times. Clinton has said she never sent classified information from her private email server, which The Associated Press was first to identify as operating in her home in New York.
The Friday release brings the volume of emails publicly released by the State Department to roughly 12 percent of the 55,000 pages Clinton had turned over to department lawyers earlier this year. That falls short of the 15 percent goal set by a court ruling in May, a lag the State Department attributed to interest by the inspector general of the U.S. intelligence community in the possible compromise of classified information.
Des Moines, Iowa (CNN)Hillary Clinton pledged Sunday that as president she would put the United States on a path toward generating enough renewable energy to power every home in the country by 2027 – ten years after she would hypothetically take office.
Here’s the thing… the power industry is mostly privately held in America. In order for her to accomplish her pledge of taking America from 9% renewable energy to 100%, it would require either massive mandates and regulations on the industry and/or a government takeover of the energy sector. We may eventually get to 100% as the technology improves, but you don’t do a ten-fold increase in ten years by just using little incentives and such.
So as you lefties cheer Clinton’s pledge, please recognize that she’s either proposing an incredible government intervention that will cost all of us a fortune, or she’s just lying to get your vote. My money’s on the latter.
Washington (CNN)The inspector general for the intelligence community has informed members of Congress that some material Hillary Clinton emailed from her private server contained classified information, but it was not identified that way.
Because it was not identified, it is unclear whether Clinton realized she was potentially compromising classified information.
The IG reviewed a “limited sampling” of her emails and among those 40 reviewed found that “four contained classified [intelligence community] information,” wrote the IG Charles McCullough in a letter to Congress.
We have to assume that everything in Clinton’s communications for her entire tenure of Secretary of State has been compromised and is in the hands of our enemies.
Forget that she lies incessantly and stands for virtually nothing that’s discernible other than her own self-interest, Hillary Clinton is one of the most boring public speakers extant. I have heard better speeches at high school, maybe even grammar school, graduations than HRC gave in New York Saturday in the second — or is it the third — debut speech of her campaign.

The sad part is this. Hillary well could get elected. If that happens, America will have chosen someone that majority of its citizen correctly believe to be dishonest. And that is before she takes office. That more than anything may destroy the country we know. We will have gone from George Washington and the cherry tree to Hilary Clinton and the thirty thousand erased emails. What is left of America’s moral standing in the world — and it isn’t much after Obama — will be in tatters.
“This is an echo of what her own press secretary said, who said there isn’t a shred of evidence. And as I’ve said there is no shred of evidence because she shredded the evidence. This whole release is a farce,” Krauthammer said. “What is being released now … is stuff that was scrubbed and cleansed and decided upon, chosen by her own people, acting in her own interest, rather than … people with obligation to the public.”
“So we are getting the cleaned up version,” he continued. “And I think they are succeeding, the Clinton people. Because everybody is hungrily looking through stuff pre-scrubbed. They are not going to find anything. The Clinton’s are secretive and deceptive, but they are not stupid.”
(CNN)The State Department says it needs until next year before it will be ready to publicly release tens of thousands of Hillary Clinton emails from her time in charge.
The uproar over Clinton’s exclusive use of private, rather than official, email during her tenure as Secretary of State erupted earlier this year and is still rumbling on.
In an effort to defuse the crisis ahead of the announcement of her 2016 presidential run, Clinton said in March that she wanted “the public to see my email” and had asked the State Department to release them.
The department is also under pressure from a Freedom of Information Act lawsuits seeking the release of documents related to Clinton that haven’t been made public.
This looks like an intentional political hit against Clinton from Obama to time the release in the heat of the presidential campaign,

The blur between the Clinton’s personal and public interests is hard to penetrate.
But an examination by The Times suggests that Mr. Blumenthal’s involvement was more wide-ranging and more complicated than previously known, embodying the blurry lines between business, politics and philanthropy that have enriched and vexed the Clintons and their inner circle for years.
While advising Mrs. Clinton on Libya, Mr. Blumenthal, who had been barred from a State Department job by aides to President Obama, was also employed by her family’s philanthropy, the Clinton Foundation, to help with research, “message guidance” and the planning of commemorative events, according to foundation officials. During the same period, he also worked on and off as a paid consultant to Media Matters and American Bridge, organizations that helped lay the groundwork for Mrs. Clinton’s 2016 campaign.
This took long enough. Of course, given that she’s an accomplished liar and nobody is willing to prosecute her for anything, I doubt anything will come of it.
WASHINGTON (AP) — The chairman of a House committee investigating the 2012 attacks on Americans in Benghazi, Libya, on Thursday called Hillary Rodham Clinton to testify at a public hearing next month, setting up a high-profile showdown over the Democratic presidential candidate’s use of a private email account and server while she was secretary of state.
Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., said he wants Clinton to testify the week of May 18 and again before June 18. The first hearing would focus on Clinton’s use of private emails, and the second on the September 2012 attacks that killed four Americans, including the U.S. ambassador to Libya.
Remember that the last time Hillary Clinton lamented critics as a “right-wing” conspiracy, the critics were right.
With an exasperated swipe at “absurd right-wing conspiracy theories,” Hillary Clinton’s campaign on Wednesday rejected the allegation in a new book that she watered down Iran sanctions to please a corporation that paid Bill Clinton a fortune in speaking fees.
“Americans have fought their way back from tough economic times, but the deck is still stacked in favor of those at the top,” Clinton told supporters at the end of a more than two-minute-long video posted on her official campaign website,hillaryclinton.com. “Everyday Americans need a champion, and I want to be that champion so you can do more than just get by.”
I wonder if she’ll mention that she’s been part of the crew stacking the deck.
I’ll go on the record now… Hillary Clinton will not be our next president. I doubt she’ll even get the nomination, but I know she won’t win the presidency.
Clinton ranted, “The thing with Obama is that he can’t be bothered, and there is no hand on the tiller half the time. That’s the story of the Obama presidency. No hand on the f–king tiller,” according to the book, which was excerpted exclusively in Sunday’s Post.
“Obama has turned into a joke,” she went on, according to Klein.
“The IRS targeting the Tea Party, the Justice Department’s seizure of AP phone records and [Fox reporter] James Rosen’s e-mails — all these scandals. Obama’s allowed his hatred for his enemies to screw him the way Nixon did,” she raged, the book says, adding that she called the president “incompetent and feckless.”
The State Department said Tuesday it has no record of Hillary Clinton signing a key form stating she turned over all official documents upon leaving the department — a form that was the subject of intense speculation since the issue could determine whether she broke the law.
That document is known as a “separation” form, which officials are supposed to sign upon leaving the department. It certifies that the person who signs it has turned over all “classified or administratively controlled” materials, as well as all “unclassified documents and papers” relating to official government business.
Given that Clinton exclusively used personal email while secretary of state and didn’t turn over official records until late last year, a former Justice Department official said last week that if Clinton signed that form, she probably gave a false statement and broke the law.
But on Tuesday, State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki told reporters they are “fairly certain she did not” sign it.
“We have reviewed Secretary Clinton’s official personnel file and administrative files and do not have any record of her signing the OF109 [form],” Psaki said.
This admission comes after the department for days was unable to answer questions about whether Clinton signed the form.
So Clinton did not lie and say that she returned all documents when she did not, but she did lie when she said that she had complied with all of the rules.
So really, there’s no news story here. Hillary lies. Didn’t we already know that?
The subtext of your news conference cut through the flimsy rationales like a dagger: “You can have the first woman president. You can get rid of those epically awful Republicans who have vandalized Congress, marginalized the president and jeopardized our Iran policy. You can get a more progressive American society. But, in return, you must accept our foibles and protect us.”
President Barack Obama exchanged emails with Hillary Clinton on her private, nongovernmental account while she was serving as secretary of state, the White House said Monday. But he did not know that she used a private system exclusively for government business, press secretary Josh Earnest told reporters.
Obama “did, over the course of his first several years in office, trade emails with the secretary of state,” Earnest said. “I would not describe the number of emails as large, but they did have the occasion to email one another.”
Obama told CBS in an interview broadcast over the weekend that he found out that Clinton had set up and maintained a private system that she used for official business “the same time everybody else learned it through news reports.”
So the questions remains… why did nobody, including her boss, raise a stink about Clinton using a personal email account to conduct the people’s business?
Washington (CNN)Hillary Clinton did not have a State Department email account while she served as America’s top diplomat, a senior state department official said Monday, and instead used a personal email account during her four years on the job.
Using personal email as a sole method of communication appears to break rules outlined by the National Archives and Records Administration. The government agency stipulates that personal email can only be used in “emergency situations,” and when used, the emails “are captured and managed in accordance with agency record-keeping practices.”
There’s only one reason that Clinton would have used a private email account instead of a government one… she intended to obscure her activities from scrutiny. Why would she want to keep her activities secret? Logic would dictate (an homage to Spock) that she intended to engage in unethical and/or illegal behavior.
What is more telling is that nobody said anything. Government officials, cabinet members, possibly foreign dignitaries, and even possibly the president himself were receiving emails from Clinton from a gmail account or something and never raised a stink about it. It makes you wonder how many other Obama officials are hiding their correspondence.
I seem to recall the exact same thing happened the last time she ran for president. The closer she gets to the Bully Pulpit, the more people remember how much they dislike her.
The latest Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll found 43% of registered voters view Ms. Clinton positively, compared with the 41% who harbor negative views. That’s a steep drop from February 2009 when 59% viewed the newly confirmed secretary of state positively and just 22% held negative views. The numbers suggest Americans are far less charitable about Ms. Clinton when she is seeking office or, in this case, merely considering it than they are about other politicians who retire from public office.
